Very nice Painting! Question, when I use my pallet knife to put in the trees, mine turn dark rather than white like yours. What have I done wrong?
Thank you 😊 When you scrape a line with a card corner or a palette knife, it creates a slight scratch’s on the surface of the paper. If your paint is too wet, it will soak back into the scratch and create a dark mark. If the paint is just damp, your palette knife will move the damp paint revealing the white paper or whatever colour is underneath. As with most things with watercolour, it takes a bit of practice and trial and error to get it the way you want it to look
