How to make the Whiskey Peach Smash
2 oz Bourbon
1 oz Orange Curaçao
Half a lemon sliced in 3-4 wedges
40 gr of peach (2 large slices)
Handful mint
Muddle the peach and lemon wedges in a cocktail shaker
Add the other ingredients
Shake with ice
Fine strain over ice
Garnish

Great spec - I find the addition of Orange Curacao very interesting. When I make smashes I have a hard time double straining out the lemon bits, fruit flesh and mint leaves. The gate and strainer get clogged with all the bits. Any suggestions on how to best strain out all the floating pieces to get as much of the drink in the glass?

Hey Dominic, unfortunately, this cocktail with the muddled lemon makes it very hard to pre-batch but you could if you strain all the solids and bottle the cocktail.
