  • Hey Friends! In today's video we are getting the Rockwool insulation installed in the mini cabin. We decided to make a switch from spray foam and this is where we landed. We hope you enjoy and it helps a little. Be Safe and God Bless!!

Cuz, looking great can’t wait to see you complete the walls. You’re almost there and I bet you can begin to see the finish line. Keep it up God Bless

Good progress!! Things are coming together nicely and looking really good. Always protect your lungs when dealing with any type of insulation and in dusty conditions. Stay safe!

Thanx so much. We for sure should have worn masks, that stuff put out some dust. We couldn’t be happier. Be safe and God Bless!!

I bought myself a painters suit (they sell these at HD at the paint dept) because I'm going to be doing this for a small building in the next day or 2. I'll wear a mask thanks for the heads up, but sorry you are going through that.

You should be wearing a respirator or dust mask around that material. That may be why you cough alot in this video.

Are your rafters 2x4's? I am planning on doing the same thing. I'm a little concerned about having enough space for the insulation after I install the Provents. I have 2x4's for rafters and cathedral ceiling with eave and ridge vent. Thanks and good work!

100%. The progeny and the Rockwool insulation fits just fine. May have to squeeze some spots in but with the tin (video coming out soon) on the ceiling it was perfect and gave us a good R value. Good luck. Be Safe and God Bless!!

@@watavuemountain481 It's hard to tell in the video. Are you saying your rafters are 2x4's? They look like 2x6 rafters in the video. I have 2x4 rafters and I would like to install Provents and Rockwool R15 in a shed I bought for my wife. Thanks!

I want to make sure I have enough room in the cavity

@@ryanmcpherson8621 yes. They are 2x4 rafters with provent and R-15 insulation. It’s a tight fit but it works. Good luck and God Bless!!
