Hey Jack. These just released for sale last week in great Britain. And they said it will be here in the U.S. soon. Do you know any dealers here that are going to carry it or maybe we will have to order it online? I'm excited . Can't wait.

You might be able to get plates for it they pitbikes that are street legal like a 110 cc with plates in phx. That would be a sick moto .

Wanted to see what torque it put out too. Should be ~300nm MAX at wheel (I get closer to 260nm with the 13/58 combo sprocket in theory, but I think production should come with 11/58?) with a 58nm motor torque output max...
Battery is 20s 7p using Lg M50LT cells they will have to discharge over 20a per group to produce 12.5kw

The rfn motor stator will likely not spin to the rpm of smaller diameter motors, so less top speed more torque.
So when will these put out for sale?
12.5Kw is the peak power of battery can reach. While the peak power of battery will loss when it transfer to controller- Motor- chain- rear wheel- tires deformation, then we get the rear wheel peak power 7.5Kw as video shows.
Also the tire pressure higher or low, Tire type (off road tire and city tire) also will affect the rear wheel peak power. City tire on same bike will be higher than off-raod tire.
I understand that, but the marketing indicates the same style of rating as other bikes which would lead me to believe that power is measured as output and not potential.
@@JackCecil Yes, but if you buying a 100 HP car, manufacturer also saying about engine power, not the power that delivered to wheals after transmission. No? (But for sure effectivity of BLDC not 100%, but someway in range of 80-95%) In any case Thank You for showing us difference between power (V*A) at BMS and power that you actually receiving from the wheal. probably that is common mistake (tradition) in DIY bikes to measure power of the bike using power that measured by BMS.
testing the Surron showed an accurate 5kw of power as advertised. most bikes I test are very close to rated output. this test shows departure from normal expectations, but I think its well with the hardwares ability to exceed it. I just need access to the programming software.

You need a street tire for a wheel dyno.

There is a higher output light like the one in your video. I believe it's 12000 lumens I use it for my e bike.

I get that it’s preproduction but almost 6 1/2 hp difference from what is claimed by the manufacturer seems like a lot to me even if you factor in drivetrain loss which should be a little to nothing, I’d really like to see them make good on their claim of 12 kW cause this thing has peaked my interest
Under this testing, the bike cannot reach peak power, the larger the load is, the max out power reach 150A , then the bike can reach.
I can load the bike fully using a brake. I just need the software to make adjustments in the bikes controller so I can fully test it. hopefully the next sample will have these available to me!

I am with you. Since seeing Jack's first review, I have been searching for information about these bikes as I am in the market (have a surron) for another. And Jack says "I will be offering them soon!", care to share what "soon" means to you? as in months and weeks? Also, what is the ballpark pricing expected to be in the US?
Jack will you be a official American distributor of all these E bikes? Maybe branch out to make mod packs/tuning, like Drift HQ but for e bikes? New branch, of HP LOGIC, E BIKE LOGIC? eHP-Logic? HP-LOGIC-E?

Rear Wheel Dyno testing with knobbiest is a disservice to the vendor and your audience. You’re probably reading 20%-40% low.
FWIW, I dyno’d hundreds of 2 and 4-stroke MX bikes from 1996-2006, many for annual magazine shootouts.
We had a generic wheel with a street tire that fit many bikes, and swapped tires when it didn’t.

yes the kit included a mirror but for my trails and farm riding it would only get in the way. I can always mount it if im goin g on public roads though!
DUDE, REALLY???WTF, OVER??? Just how is the front brake tube/hose going to move up & down after you JAMMED it behind the head lamp mounting bracket? If the wheel moves 10 inches or more, the brake hose NEEDS TO MOVE THE SAME AMOUNT & I hope it doesn't hang up and apply the front brake and send you over the bars & onto your head. I think that you need to try and rotate the mounting bracket up & back towards the speedo unit so the brake hose has some freedom to move. Good luck with that & the dude making & selling the kit should have a WARNING in the directions about that so nobody hurts themselves or anyone else during the CRASH!!

These bikes along with ''anything similar'' are illegal on our UK roads, they are only allowed on private land etc, sucks as Id buy one no problem.
They do a road legal one with lights etc in the UK

Well that certainly depends. First is pricing. What is the actual pricing going to be? Then there is when can you get one? In that event, you are 100% correct, no match as you cannot even get the Apollo. Then quality...I know that Surron has been making some good moves of late, and that in the Pit Bike world, Apollo was not at the top of the list of Chinese bikes that one might want to start with...

well this one is by far the nicest quality I have seen from them. I dont think its the same design style or quality at all as the cheap pit bikes.
