I hope you know, your truck layout is my new dream and goal especially as I plan to grow my family in the next coming years I want to get this done sometime before that thank you god Sir! 🍺🇺🇸
Just found your channel and immediatly subscribed after reading the title of it. "Overland Under Budget" is genius and *exactly* what i'm looking for! :) I live in The Netherlands and drive a 2008 Toyota Hilux. I'm in IT and have no practical skill in building physical stuff, so my challenge is to somehow build a detachable camper that fits on the back of my Hilux after removing the current truck bed. I'll be checking out all of your previous videos first, so i won't waste anyones time asking dumb questions, but just wanted to thank you right here for sharing all of this.
I seen you and Ben's video. Not only is a an awesome firefighter that travels his little outlander is tight. I have a 97 k2500 suburban 10 years ago and been thinking how to maximize its benefits. You done good. You both done great!
Great Modular build !! I looked on your website and did not see Plans-materials list for (camper / drop down bed) ? I am certain these plans would sell. Hopefully something you would consider ?
Amazing work!! I’ve watched all the other videos and may have missed if you said so but how much does each piece weigh? (flatbed by itself & camper by itself) Thanks man! Keep rockin!
@@OverlandUnderBudget I've beat the tar out of my '07 Touareg (Cayenne "twin" if you weren't aware). Bought pristine at 66k in 2019 for $8200, now 107k and not so cosmetically pristine but zero functional issues. Bone stock, thing does NOT get stuck unless I'm being very, very, VERRRRY unreasonable.
Not going to lie I loved all your old videos of creative and low budget small builds and ideas you had but this truck is also sick! I would love to see how you built your old roof basket with the square stock. I want to build one out of 1x1 square tubing but benders for them are expensive. Either way keep doing what you enjoy and enjoy your truck.
Take your time and do whats fun for you. As a youtuber myself I know these videos take forever to edit and make. I had a flat bed F150 that I built a sleeper for that comes on and off. It was a serious budget build for the Gambler 500. Never thought I would be a flat bed kind of person but after owning one I want one again. Nice to see you are getting some fun use and making memories with your family. Keep up the good work!
Looks like a nice setup I'm going to have to finish watching the video later but I was watching you lower it on to the flatbed and just had a thought since they're moving in the same direction you could run a bar between them on the swivel point that the handles are on and put a handle in the middle of the bar and you could actually work two at a time instead of having to go to all four corners just go back and forth between either side to jack it up it might require a little more effort spending it but it doesn't look like it's that heavy so it shouldn't be that difficult just a thought if you do it or not that's up to you or if someone else sees it besides to copy you this might be something that they might use
I’ve timed it a few times. Average about 25-35 min depending on how well I pull in the first time. On a level hard surface like a parking lot it would be fast
That bike rack is soo sick the way it mounts high up and out of the way. Fantastic job on that camper build. Amazing how far the build has come

Good looking rig!
Love your channel man, just found it but can't wait to watch more videos!
this is so amazing. thanks for sharing!
I love it brother. Don’t be surprised if you see my truck in a year with a similar set up. It’s a 2001 s10 with solid axles.
My 4Runner wants to be reincarnated into your Tacoma. Ha! This is such a great build, mad props!!
Sweet truck

Lovin the high street shirt!🤙
That place rocks!
Awesome!
Thanks! It’s been really nice having a quick and easy way to remove and mount the camper as needed

Dag, yo, rollin an early Cayenne, too? Those things are stupidly capable off-road as well! Love the ideas you come up with in your videos.
Thanks Nate! Yep 2006 cayenne turbo S. Craig list in 2018 for $12,000 with 117k miles. Now has 190,xxx

Hope you don’t mind.. I’m gonna copy this exact build…. Soo sick!!
This is epic. The only mod would be hardsides for the tent like hiatus campers has. Also do you have blue prints for the box? 1st gen dcsb fam
Cool Video. What wrist watch are you wearing ?

Thanks man! Same truck, just keep evolving to suit my needs. I’ll have to do a video on the square tube bender I built!

Totally, I’ve thought about that, but might be a little more difficult in practice then it’s worth
Dude! This was super cool to watch, also I haven't seen you around MB in a while.... Im guessing you moved lol
Just been busy! But still here
This is well engineered. Are you an engineer?
Where did you get your shovel?
Do you have a gauge for the rear airbags?
Kids are so funny lmao
Enjoy all your builds…
Thank you
Please show the bed side build
How long did this take in real time?

Is the camper stable enough to be used off the truck?
👍
Have you hacked your jacks to be drill powered yet?
Solar on roof?
What kind of wheels/tires are those
Thanks! Nomad wheels “convoy” in 16x8 -10 offset
What kind of wheels are on your truck?
