7:10 Yes. She absolutely does not admonish the bad moments as all. The very album this song was on she called: "All my demons greeting me as a friend". So, if there is a theme, it is how to get comfortable with the darkness, which very much includes acknowledgement and embrasing the bad moments for what they give (which you will also get from other songs).

This is a great one to react to. It really shows her personality. But, you've only scratched the surface of her quirky personality. This is pretty tame. This young lady is not afraid to say anything. The stuff that comes out of her mouth is hilarious. She truly is unique, humble and funny as hell sometimes. There's a short interview called "Aurora knows how to interview". That one is funny and she just says stuff. Aurora is the whole package artist. She and the Warning have become my favorites over the last few years. Both are the whole package and something special.

Aurora is Genius! Great reaction guys, I would love to see you guys react to the HAIK Documentary. You really get to know Aurora, and the last 40 minutes or so are a surprise concert in one of her favorite places.

To me the main story of the song from of her explanation is this (besides the tree climbing):
She was missing someone she had lost, seeing their face in the sand and everywhere, and trying to recreate / manifest it herself by painting a picture. She then ran away in grief (runaway) so far, that she almost ran off the world, and then after a while she got so tired, she couldn't take it anymore and had to return home.
She has said many times that she wrote it at age 11-12, and from a 2019 article we know she lost her Godfather at age 11 at Christmas, so it is possible that the song is about grieving for him and possibly running away in grief. She has never talked about if she actually ran away from home back then.

Great guys. So interesting to hear your discussion. I love her mindset. She is from Norway and i am from Sweden we nordic people thinking rather alike. She is a truly empath. Take a reaction on Aurora - Lucky or through the eyes from a child from Nidarosdomen those two is something VERY special. Have. Great weekend.

Absolutely awesome, great reaction on a very enlightening message.......lil sweet lady Aurora, she makes you think and ponder.......all of us, actually, in such a personal and intimate way.....we get the idea that fuels and runs our neurones and our harts to start and work out our own meanings and that I call Love, Magic and Goodness.....Aurora is so unique...good to have her around......we're so fucking fortunate

Great reaction and discussion! Aurora also did Genius videos for "Cure for Me" and for her collaboration with Sub Urban for "Paramour."
As suggested elsewhere, if you really want to get to know Aurora, the HAIK documentary + concert is a must-see! If you think you like her now, you've only scratched the surface.

Yea she is very genuine person. Also very unique person with her unique and interesting perspective on many things. She is also very idealistic person, humble and just good. I would say also soulful (not sure if this is good word), but not in religious sense. She has some element of children but she is wise (and intelligent) in the some time.
Ps. I think fascination with death can be also because she experienced it several times when she was young (f.e. she lost someone close in Utoya massacre - she even wrote the song connected with this topic). But it is also a part of her unique view on things. She is like homegrown philosopher too. People sometimes avoid some topics (not "nice" topics), but death is a part of life.
Ps2. it is part of album called "All my demons greeting me as a friend" which comes from the song which was planed on the album but was not released (it is on internet though in leaked demo version or something like that :) ). And as title said it is about our demons and the idea that everyone has such things in live but it would be nice to say that you was able to take in terms with your demons and these demons become "your friends" as a part of experiences you accepted.

    great reaction!!!
She is amazing. Please react to her live performance "It happened Quiet"( live at the current) 🙏🙏
Btw, I obsess with death too and I do believe that if we embraced our finitude in this human bodies instead of running away from that fact, people would live and behave in a very different way and probabbly the World would be a better place.

I agree. We have a limited time on this earth but the majority of humans live like this will be forever. We should cherish every moment because we cannot rewind time to get those moments back.

Aurora began writing music at the age of 6, self taught, the melodies at age 9. She took an exam when she was in the 7th grade and they found she was a genius and is in mensa meaning her IQ is genius level. She considers herself an introvert. Go back and watch her concert Live and Nidarosteman...This is her first music. I think you will really love it. Also, watch the her video of her song Running With the Wolves. She is a lyrical genius. She does so many different types of music. It's time boys, to go down the Aurora Rabbit Hole, Leave the Matrix and Enter into some deep healing stuff.

Beautiful song, Artist and topic. Your discussions was also interesting and inspired by story of the song.
Yea it is about perspective. But some people when make a mistake they always relive this mistakes and it can be very bad for them and for they future and can also hide themselves to not make another mistakes and not doing anything on the very end. On the very end your mistakes are not so important in longer run (but in this moment this mistake can look for you like the end of the world). But on the other hand our time is limited, time of persons which are important for you is also limited. And this fact alone make the time with them very important. And the second one is not easy to remember too be honest. Sometimes you wish you could be closer or spend more time with them when they where here. You should just live your live on the fullest. You will make mistakes but it is part of life and more active you are you will probably make even more mistakes, but it should not stop you (i wish i would do as i wrote :P ).

She mentioned in an interview she started thinking about death at a very young age, and was sad receiving gifts, knowing she knew she couldn't bring them with her😄. I like most of what she makes (and some of it a lot!), but some of my favorite versions of her songs are acoustic, so I enjoy this one a lot and have watched it several times. Love her voice, and the less produced, the more I enjoy it.

At approx 22 minutes, King Bro said something that reminded me of Aurora's The Woman I Am! Self-love is also important.

Another young and talented person 🌀JANN 🌀 => he also conveys emotion through his own songs and singing
Make a reaction to Jann's live performances, please, e.g: 🔥🔥🔥Chillizet Live Session: Jann - Promise 🔥🔥🔥
    ------------------------
    Lyrics "Promise"
You said that you'll be there when I get home
You'll do the laundry cook the meal for all
But I smell neither garlic nor the cotton when I'm here
All I hear is silence that you left when you disappeared
    Why didn't you say
That you wouldn't stay with me forever
Like then on a day you first met me
I don't even care why you had to leave baby
    You tear me apart
    Look how selfish you are
Left me behind when I gave you my life
    Where are you now
How am I supposed to tell them How
And you promised that you wouldn't leave before me
Tell me why you couldn't keep your promise
I know that you can't hear me like before
But there are things I think you need to know
The things that you would know If you'd just wait a little more
But you don't like to wait and now they think that it's their fault
    Why didn't you say
That you wouldn't stay with me forever
Like then on a day you first met me
I don't even care why you had to leave baby
    You tear me apart
    Look how selfish you are
Left me behind when I gave you my life
    Where are you now
How am I supposed to tell them How
And you promised that you wouldn't leave before me
Tell me why you couldn't keep your promise
