      That is the reason
      The office is empty now. Everybody has gone home.
      It is correct..

      @@shilpidawar5947 See, the main verb has been used here in the example is "IS" and the breaking down is a past event. And they are asking for help in the present so it's a "SIMPLE PAST TENSE." So "BROKE" would be the correct answer.

    Great lesson but I have heard native speakers use past simple. For example: I got for you instead of I’ve got for you. Which one is correct?

      If you complete the sentence - I got for you present. That’s incorrect sentences. I have got a present for you. That’s the correct sentences
