What is that putty knife you use to pre cut with and do you use gorilla cord?
We use the WRD-TK. They call it a Tap Knife and it works well to start on the quarter glasses to avoid the line breaking. We have used the gorilla cord and it works very well! We always use the WRD Cord P6 P8 & P10. Different sizes for different occasions. P6 is thin so it cuts a lot easier through tougher urethane but you well get less uses around 6 windshields due to the clips from the original glass. The P8 is slightly thicker and will go through 10 windshields before breaking and goes through even more clips. The P10 is the thickest and will go through 15 windshields as long as it doesn’t get caught on any metal and goes through even more clips. It’s all about preference but the best is to have all of these on hand ready for any scenario
