@@xiii_centuries I still have yet to do it. Currently the center bearing for the drive shaft went out. Part should arrive .today
Tip:if you don’t pull the valve covers… loosen the cam gear bolts while the timing belt is tensioned , if your replacing the cam seals… If it moves at least everything moves together so u don’t have to line them up individually that’s ass.

Did you not change the VVti oring?! That will spray oil all over your engine compartment if you don’t and it goes out.

When u cranked the car to break the bolt and moved timing how did I get it lined up again?

whats good, do i need a timing belt cover gasket? im purchasing new valve covers gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, 3 o ring gaskets, the timing belt kit Water Pump, Timing Belt, Tensioner, Pulley, Gaskets from aisin. what else do i need boss?

Take your time! When you pull the crank gear Don’t forget the the tiny tab holding it in the way or it will break a tooth on the gear.
@CorneliusVeee question when the car is off. What should the timing be. White mark isn't on the left side west instead on right east north. This is the vvti gear.
how would you bump it if it’s an automatic?
Did you replace the cam seals?
Timing can be reset after everything is off and your ready to remove it.
What’s the part number for those 3 o-rings that goes onto the coolant bypass pipe ?
My advice if you want those cats to last long and continue to work when needed is to take them off and save it
There’s sooo much just to replacing a water pump. I’m scared to touch the timing. I don’t wanna mess it up
You know you don’t have to hold the tensioner the whole time… get it off one pulley and let it fly!

13mm on small bolts Nd 14mm on the balancer bolt

Has anyone been able to remove the cam gears without removing valve covers? I just did my valve cover gaskets and don’t wanna do it again to do the cam seals!!!!
What kind of harmonic Balancer pulley would you recommend ? I’ve already gone thru two kits none of them worked for me

Whats the brand of your timing belt. I bought a Gates racing timing belt, which has a blue color timing belt too. wish i know how to do my own timing belt, have to pay an autoshop to do it

Had my timing belt, water pump, new cams and every O ring seal done 4 months ago, no more oil leakage. Cost me 700 for the shop to do the timing belt job. I have a video clip on my page, press the purple Z

You can actually do it with either. Just make sure you remember which one you used and time it exactly to the same spot

I only need to bump it once. But on a different motor I had to use the proper tool and a breaker bar

Bro quick question. To spin the engine to top dead center. Did you have to put the rear tires off the ground?
Car needs to be in neutral but wheels don’t have to be off the ground.
