What's scary about LCK right now is that Afreeca and KT look like worlds finalist levels when they're playing others in the league. Then there is KingZone... who are smashing them. KingZone is probably the best team in League of Legends competitive history to date. I just hope they can keep everything up because I really want them to be world champions. Khan is hilarious. Who doesn't like Peanut? BDD is so consistently good. Pray is Pray, he's a legend. And Gorilla is so selfless in his play. The team deserves ultimate glory! And they all deserve it.

I never meant it in terms of what they've done or are doing. It's a matter of level of play. SKT are still the greatest team in terms of accolades by far, I think it will be a long time before we see their records challenged. But I'm talking in terms of level of play. Not even that 2015 SKT that you're talking about were playing at the level KZ has been playing at this split with Khan in the team.
You can't compare old level of game play to new. The level will always improve. For example even the worst LCK team today is better than 2011 champions. The best team of 2019 will be even better than who ever the best turns out to be this year. And the year just started.
one of the best breakdown ever, if not the best with maybe MSF vs SKT. It just highlights the lack of game knowledge that I do have . I mean I understand their plays but i wouldnt think about it when I was watching the games live.
the even bigger problem is that the micro of these teams is much better. you can't pull this macro without micro as it was all about khan keeping that fiora in check. really scary when a team has arguably the best toplaner AND botlane while also having this level of macro
This reminds of how after Fnatic beat G2, one of them (I believe it was Rekkles) said that knew that the other teams are not as good as them to close out games, so that's why they relied only on Rekkles being a late game hypercarry. I know Fnatic are not equal to KingZhone (I am a Fnatic fan), but it's interesting to see the difference in macro between the best and the rest in regions like Korea and EU. (Don't know how it is in NA, since I don't watch it)

Killing Baron in 13 sec at 20 minutes is not a problem, with full hp. Nor is GP being able to stall a 5 man push from across the map. Nor is GP being a late game champ who cannot be punished properly early game by one of the best top laners in the world without a gank.
They did it because they had two mountain drakes that was the key factor .. if they had not had it, the five kt players would have reached the baron and maybe win a teamfight due the gold lead and level advantage...
Mountain Drake probably contributed but only very slightly. Its not exactly double or triple damage to objectives. All I'm saying KING-ZONE abused balanced problems that people have been complaining about for the last 1-2 years, and it gave them a 9k gold advantage. I will respect them for doing it but I don't think the better team won. I don't think we got to see the better team.
you forgot to mention that 1) He's also against THE best top laner in the world. 2) GP also cant punish the fiora without a gank. 3) GP ult has a long cooldown and if you use it to clear waves then you dont have way lesser combat power in lane. 4) they have double mountain drake with one of the best early game junglers (Olaf) and baron takers. KZ beautifully allocated their resources exploiting KT's moments of weakness while covering up their own. But yeah sure blame the system.
3rd TF Breakdown (this season/split). 2 to NA, 1 to LCK. Its not EU yet, but at least now they use a true LoL ligue to do it, instead of the NA LCS. I think it wasnt that hard, Zyrene :S
But wasnt there a third way of teaming on the gp conceeding an inhib yet removes the side lane threat ? .. this is the frequent method NA teams deal with this issue and is praised by the casters
riot should buff baron again so that the cannon minions just 1shot towers. It's obviously too hard to win games if you get baron in an even game state.
This is exactly why NO NA team will EVER be good at worlds. Until they can even come close to this type of macro mastery then NA teams at worlds will be the LUL of everything no matter what. This is beyond impressive from a lck team let alone any team at all. Hands down 5* on this breakdown. Big eye opener for anyone who plays top tier.

Its just that KT greeded really hard bottom and made a reckless play afterwards to compensate without taking the risks into account. There's simply no reason to greed so hard for a tier 1 turret when you have a split pusher who's ahead anyways and simply give up the top side of the map at the 20 minute mark. The fact Smeb had no Summs for 5 minutes on a split push champ AND facing a GP with both Summs, double mountain and baron buff makes it impossible to execute in any way.
Finally a focus on Korean teams, by far the most interesting ones to analyse...
