Do you still have this vacuum setup? Or do you have a followup with the vacuum setup you went with on routing? I did the mod on mine and I /think/ I got the vacuum lines right but I'm not 100% sure.
Thanks for this. I'm currently doing a head gasket replacement. I plan on doing the egr delete when I'm building it back up. Do you think that will work? Or do I have to rebuild it back to normal and do the delete? Thanks in advance
I just did head gaskets all new intake and exhaust valves. Valve seats/guides/valve shims adjusted new cams and heads decked flat. Make sure you test the valves to make sure they’re sealing against the valve seat every single one of mine was loosing compression through the exhaust valves cause they were burned and not sealing at all. Make sure to get the heads decked that’s a must. Also make sure to get your valves adjusted properly upon rebuild. G’luck to ya… I did the LCE EGR delete and worked beautifully used the little resistor they supply no check engine codes and runs awesome. It’s a TON of work but if your gonna do it you better do it right
HI, no lost in MPG, and honestly the truck ran good as always. MPG was still great, this delete may the engine bay so much cleaner and easier to work with. If your state doesn't have emission laws, then do this ASAP !
On the triangle one that top BOLT needs silicone...it's.a thru hole goes into the cooling...and yes silicone both and the egr coolant plate...use the Toyota gasket...
What if I want to keep the A/C and power steering control valve? Is there a way to reroute the vacuum lines or is it possible to remove that whole control valve and keep A/C? Thanks!!!
Doing this can make your engine over heat. & make your headers, catalytic converter, Glow cherry Red Hot. You’ll also be creating a lot more poisonous unburnt gasses that are probably the cause of homies cough
Hi all, everything till this day has worked great and fine. the engine is much cleaner and easier to work on now.
Simplified and straight to the point with visuals.
I like that!!
Cut the loop you have tied between the intake plenom and the throttle body, separate and cap individually you'll get your idle back manageable.
My brother. I am concerned for your health. Please seek out medical assistance for that cough.
Man, hope you got better w that cough. Cool job!
This video is the best video for simplifying the delete. This is great you helped me a lot.
awesome, glad to hear this helped Tyler.
If you do a delete on a EGR would it pass smog still ?
Jose Carias no
@@tylerwhitby4277 ok cool thanks!
Can u block off air injection pipe without removing the hold system
I would suggest not deleting the charcoal canister, it helps efficiency with no hp loss by working with the fuel system
How about the two lines in front of the intake manifold (BVSV for EGR)?
Love your videos btw
Hey man great video. Wonder if you sale
The tube goes on top of exhaust I need it thanks

What about the sensors that are on top of the valve cover that some vacume lines go to
if you are talking about the two electric plugs, get rid of them, I did that
Idle ups valves for AC and power steering
Hope you're feeling better.

Best video on u tube for this. Great job.
thank you !
This video is 5 years old, have you had any issues with the truck? I am fixing to do mine. Thanks
No issues!
@@NuttyNu good deal thanks for the reply. I am currently rebuilding my engine and I was going to do away with all that stuff. Thanks
Where does the dist vac come from?
Can I just delete the air injection and not the egr ?
Yes
how did you cap the port on the airbox for the air injection?
go to auto zone, they have rubber cap
What is that vacuum line that connects from the top of the engine into the intake?
breather lines
Did you notice a loss in MPG after removing it all?
Or was your EGR even working to begin with? Thanks
HI, no lost in MPG, and honestly the truck ran good as always. MPG was still great, this delete may the engine bay so much cleaner and easier to work with. If your state doesn't have emission laws, then do this ASAP !
Do you need gaskets or silicone on the block off plates?
YES, use the old ones, or if not , then use grey RTV for the intake, for exhaust plate, use the old ones
On the triangle one that top BOLT needs silicone...it's.a thru hole goes into the cooling...and yes silicone both and the egr coolant plate...use the Toyota gasket...
What did you use to cover the holes on the header side?
they sell the kit for it
Yo nu can you put up some videos on the fuel routing cause I'm having trouble after a switch to efi
I dont have a 22RE anymore, sorry
Delate the EGR it will bad choice?
Juanpablo Arista Mendieta no
did your truck not have the idle control?
Iacv is coolant controlled
What if I want to keep the A/C and power steering control valve? Is there a way to reroute the vacuum lines or is it possible to remove that whole control valve and keep A/C? Thanks!!!
Your Ac shouldnt be affected by this mod
Did you lose power steering?
no, you dont mess with any of that
Will it still pass, smoge?????
No
Can anyone tell me what size bolts to use for the egr delete plates plz..
I think they are m8x1.25
@@NuttyNu for the plate on the intake and the egr.. there all the same?
Length? The M8 x1.25 is the thread size right?
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
Why would someone want to do this?
Simplify engine
Did it work?
yes it did
Great video and way to explain it simplified!! I’m sure this has helped a lot of us 22re owners! Tks!
How's your check engine light???
Fixed
Is there a part 2
this is all
I was curious if your truck ran well or not im in the process of delete
Is there anyway I could talk to you private I need some help?
yes
El mio es carburado le eliminaron eso y trabaja mejor
boats?
Did u improve horse power ? May mpg?
no, just cleaner engine bay
Sale me your parts I need them I live in California
ALREADY TRASHED, SORRY
Just did this delete. How much you willing to pay for these parts?
Thank you man
You're welcome!
It's a cool video but it sounds like your sick AF.
