Tidal 55 Super Sponge filter hack

in this video I show how I hack the seachem Tidal 55 I will make one correction do not clean the sponges out until you see water actually running out of the blue turn dial that's when you know it is time to clean some of the sponges out especially at the bottom aquarium water will update on a later video to explain why

The real trick with any Tidal is just before Feeding use the Top Wheel (Stem on 35) to reduce the Flow to the Minimum and Then Return to the your Normal Flow Rate a few minutes after Food is consumed.
And know that the "Surface Skimmer" Grill is the PRIMARY Intake on All Tidals.

Thats a greate setup for a premium customable HBO, theres so many choises you can do with those types of HBO filters. You can use whatever media you have, be mechanical or biological filtration, what you need, theres so many choises. The Tidals are greate, and maybe the best feature is the pump inside youre tank, self priming. Its awesome.
