    Wally always had a killer kick coming off the turn in the 200m. That I definitely remember about Wally. His top end speed was incredible. He would make up so much ground it was ridiculous. Shout out to Wally for real!🙏🏾

    Thank you, Wallace for owning your whole story and taking responsibility for the untapped potential that you possess.
    I used to watch the Olympic trials and the Olympics and wonder what was going on with you. I could see your potential, but could not figure out what was keeping you from going to the next level. Listening to this discussion helped me to understand you better.

    The length of Justin Gatlin's career from start to finish was awesome. He was competitive even up to the end of his career. He might not have been the fastest athlete but I have him in the top 2 greatest Male sprinters, considering his longevity

    I like listening to Spearmon talk. I always learn from his insights and experience. I once heard him say that Bolt really could run a sub 9.5 if he wanted to. IDK how true that is, but he did commit 2 errors in that 9.58 race: 1) He stubbed his toe into the ground after getting outta the blocks 2) Somewhere during the last 20 meters of the race, he looks over to see where is Tyson Gay...... To me, both of these errors cost him some time on the clock!

    • @alansamuel2454
      @alansamuel2454 Місяць тому +3

      He also said Bolt could do an 18.9 in the 200. And sure, these errors cost him, but it wouldn't be a sub 9.5 frankly. Maybe a 9.53 or 9.54 at best.

    •  Місяць тому +1

      The nr. 1 was not a mistake. It was an intentional toe drag. Asafa did it as well at times, and plenty of other Jamaicans were taught the same way. Look it up on google.

      I think 9.58 was a perfect race. Bolt was better in the 200 yet the 100 record is significantly harder to beat even though there is more concurrence. He couldn't do better in that race. Maybe 1 or 2 hundreds... 18.9 I do believe in it though, he could have done it

    There’s one topic that nobody touches & I want to know the inside truth. What were all the track guys saying when Bolt made that superhuman transformation from 2007 to 2008? What was the reaction? Cuz Bolt had already been in the pro circuit for a couple of years & then all of a sudden…BOOM! 8 straight years of Domination

    • @justincase1276
      @justincase1276 Місяць тому +5

      This is because u didn't know about him, bolt was dominant from 14 yrs old. He ran 400 and 200. Totally owned boys and girls champs in highschool, beat kids much older. He was a generational talent from day 1

    • @Dbo_Sports
      @Dbo_Sports Місяць тому

      @@justincase1276He was a generational talent, getting his brains beat in by Xavier Carter first and then Tyson Gay after that. Never came near 19.4… I remember in High School watching Xavier Carter in college and looking at everyone’s times and knowing he was the next guy. Bolt couldn’t even beat Gay, and got his butt kicked in the World Championships before the Olympics. Then he runs a 19.30 and a 9.6… Absolute nonsense. No disrespect to Bolt… but I always thought that he was on a new cocktail.

    1:30 2017 world champs exposed it all. A natural 9.58 couldnt run no faster than a 9.99 against a 1st place 9.90. Strict testing keeps the top runners together at the finish line.
