This was extremely helpful. I'm 1/2 way through doing one for a 1st gen Tacoma and was cursing that it was built for a 4Runner but happened to fit a Tacoma. I was laughing pretty good that you thought the exact opposite (in Part 3). Totally agree it's a great kit but by no means is it as simple as weld it up and bolt it on.
Hello! So interesting this video, can u please give me more info about this catalog for dimentions. Or some page where i can find more info 'bout dimentions or exploded views.
i was using .030 and .035 fluxcore wire, i had a bit of .030 left so i just used it up . I do not recommend using fluxcore because its difficult the chip off all the slag for paint prep.
nice work, it's never as easy as it should be :( also some info for you about the video. all the frame nuts front and back are M12-1.25 your correct they are not common sizes to find in normal hardware stores. I have a fastenal down the road and they have them... one homepot around me has this size for some reason but no others have M12-1.25 for some reason. they are a pain to find. that is not a radiator hard line, it's for the dehydrator on the AC system. it's filled with pressurized coolant so yes don't put a hole in that one!
Don’t cut yourself short. You are doing a better job than I could ever do. I appreciate your instructions.
Hell of a shop you've got there

Thanks so much for posting this up.
Why didn't they account for the radiator line in the design?
So I bet you will advise having some bottled water close by for such emergencies!
Hey so if you want to put a winch in this bumper, do you have to cut away at your grille???
yes, thats the sacrifice you have to make for high clearance
bolt i believe are 14mm x 1.00 or 14mm x 1.25 for the front bumper.
Do you have the project in 3D for cutting steel sheets? Here in Brazil Toyota is different
If you mean like cutting the plates out yourself on a plasma table of some sort there is no need. When you order the kit it's already very nicely cut

does the manual come with part dimensions? pls share
No it doesn't, cause then anyone could easily make the entire kit themselves and im sure the company doesn't want that
whats the thickness of the plates
What size welder and wire are you using? I see the Hobart on the cart in the background and didn't see a bottle, you using fluxcore?

They got right back to me two weeks ago. I ended up ordering one of their rear bumpers because they were so prompt.
