  • I speak with Ike "The President" Ibeabuchi in his first video interview in over 25 years since his imprisonment. Ike was the most feared heavyweight in professional boxing who many believed would've beat Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, and Evander Holyfield.

the announcers and I were like "just wait till Tua gets going" he never did, we saw this dude go toe to toe and outbox Tua during the height of his career, I was just speechless watching the power, the chin and the combinations that never stopped coming, I never watched a Tua fight again and watched all of Ike's fights and found his old footage too, hahaha, no idea who this guy was, we were all there to watch Tua, hahaha, the results of the fight shocked us and the boxing world when it happened and the rest is "what could have been" history

ok just saw it. I see Ike rambles a bit about his immigration status/plight. Here are a few questions I would like to see answered (if at all possible):
-how did he receive news of the passing of his trainer and former champion, Curtis Cokes? His former promoter, Cedric Kushner?
-did he ever spar with Hasim Rahman?
-how exactly would he have beaten the best of HIS era?
-how did he get into boxing?
-how hurt was he in the tua fight? I recall he was wobbled late int he fight. He also used that fight as part of his defense saying it caused brain damage
-why aren't there many Nigerian HW's like in his era (Duncan Dokiwari, David Izonritei, and himself to name the top)
I'm SHOCKED he never sparred the top of the HW division. I wish Ike nothing but the best! and I have to check your interview with Tua-man!
