Regarding this lintel beam and roof level beam, pls clarify how much the normal size of a beam (height and breth )for lintel level and roof level. One more clarification is it advisable of doing both the roof beam and roof concrete at the same time if yes how it will work. Regards Malik Kuwait

Pls share the thumb rule for beam at the roof level. Will the torsion mat serve the purpose of roof level beam 100% ? Which is the correct practice, 1. roof level beam + full lintel beam.
2. Roof level beam + cut lintel
3. Only lintel beam
4. Full lintel + torsion mat.
Pls give the correct scientific practice from the above.

Good explanation sir,
Framed structure in my home,two building, 20*10 (g+1) perpendicular to another building 22.5*10 (g+0), both connecting in roof & lintel level. In this structure , column max spacing is 11 ft and 12*4 steel used. Here i constructed beam at plinth level , sill level and lintel level. But my contractor said there will be no beam at roof level and slab construct directly in bricks as already two beams such as sill level and lintel constructed is enough. Pls clarify. Mix used is 1:2:3
