Custom Pie Menu Addon • 使いやすいカスタムPIEメニューとキーマップ... docs.google.co... Vertex color changed to attribute color from Blender 3.2 Daniel Martínez's brush cloud.blender....
For anyone watching this video recently, "Vertex Color" node used in the shading tree of this video, it has been changed to "Color Attribute" in the more recent Blender versions.
I saw this on a forum: That has indeed been changed, it is still connected to a Viewer (or Emission) Node in the background, but it's not showing. You can now plug a Color (or Value, or Vector) output socket directly in the Material Output.@@thegamerist8036
Whoa, the solidify/displacement/second-material/texture combo is such a neat trick! I've been using freestyle and was thinking of moving on to the line art modifier, but this looks even nicer and more practical! Cheers
yeah its called inverted hull, and its used in games a lot too. I cant stand the freestyle workflow, it takes forever to render and doesnt look that great IMO.
Hi! First of all, congratulations on your astounding work. Not only your technique is awesome, you make really beautiful things with it. And thank for sharing it with us. About the "inverted hull" technique for the outlines, I made an addon to streamline the process (it's completely open source for everyone to use, I just made it for myself), maybe you will find it useful, I'll try to tell how to find it in another comment. Thank you very much!
Well... YT deleted my comment anyway. Tell me in a comment if you are interested and I'll DM you or something. It's completely open source, I just made it for myself and share it for anyone interested. It's called geometric-inklines if you can try to find it. It doesn't do the displacement trick, but it has a feature to control the thickness of the lines based on a light source -useful!- via a vertex weight map. You can also edit the thickness to avoid artifacts in troublesome places like lips or other troublesome places. Let me know. Thanks again for sharing your awesome work.
Thank you so much for your video. I'm a blender beginner. I'm sorry. I'd like to ask you a question. I want to use the brush used in the latter part of the video, but I don't know how to add. いつもGAKUさんのアートワークに感心しています。 素敵な映像をありがとうございます。
Sweet thank you!! If you are looking for custom brush, now you can get that from default addon ua-cam.com/video/H-LaQlaDrJM/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Darkfall
Thanks! How can I make only the vertex color to be shown and the outline when rendering, so I just want the white part to be transparent? Does anyone know?
this is absolutely amazing! this is different then what we're used to see so it feels like magic hard question- do you think it might be possible to create and animate a full character with this method?
this is really cool, sorry for this seemingly noob question but im studying game design and i was wondering if anyone knew how this ported over into something like unity and if it was possible to make game assets like this.
Thanks for your tutorial. I have one question. I have applied this method (vertex paint) with the default cube but did not work. For example, simply the color was not painted or no reaction to my brush. Is it related with the UV map? So, when you paint the building, house, bus, etc. you consider painting it after unwarp the UV map? or is there a way you can draw it simple?
@@谢波-g4b thanks guys for the reply. im able to get the color palette now. has anyone noticed that they're not able to use S to colorpick when in grease pencil mode?

Hi, thank you! What sort of trouble is it? Do you want to remove it and bring it back? for 3.2 Blender you could try with this ua-cam.com/video/jV8ZN7NHqb4/v-deo.html docs.google.com/document/d/18TM7Up6PB-5f2M2qrOtvbxfH-mpNPCFxoJhSF3HxeZI/edit?usp=sharing

So, when you paint the building, house, bus, etc. you consider painting it after unwarp the UV map? or is there a way you can draw it simple?
This one is vertex paint, so no UV needed, just vertex. In material you just need to plug vertex in as it is explained in this video
I think the reason you're having problems could be that the default cube doesn't have a lot of vertices, try subdividing it first
2:16 i wonder why i can't paint it 😭
edit : oh i try it on my other 3d model it works fine
vertex color is now color attribute fyi. did you set shader correctly?
Hello Tutor, I m facing an issue. I m not getting Vertex paint node in shader. Would u help me out. Thanks
from 3.2 Blender Vertex node became color attribute, hope it helps..
When I get to the part where you start doing vertex paint, my paint only shows up in the solid viewport shader and not the rendered one
not sure what happened, but i restarted the whole thing and it worked this time
@@romanyefimets454 CooL!:)
Thanks a lot for this, how do you set the palette to pop up at your cursor like that so you can colorpick so easy?
oh RMB to show color pallet, is it not showing?
First, in Preferences setting, "select with Mouse Button" need set to "left", and save... then in viewport RMB will show "color palette" . Good luck!
