Playing hands costs $1. Discarding, normally, does not cost anything. You need to prioritize discarding over hand playing for better econ unless you have very specific jokers.
Playing hands does not cost $1 in the literal sense. if you're indicating that you don't earn the $1 for NOT playing a hand once you have defeated the blind, they're not technically equivalent. Not earning does not equal spending.

Why did both aces trigger at 39:06? I assume it's a bug, right? Because the played hand is a straight (A,1,2,3,4) and the second ace isn't part of the hand in any way. It's not flush related either because there are 3 suits.
I suppose it's because the straight can be made with any of the aces and the game doesn't pick for you and just counts both of them.
Theoretically you are making two straights with the other 3 cards being common to both, I believe that's the logic.
@@randmzer I expected the game to pick the left-most card in this case. I'm not sure if this is intentional. At least it's beneficial to the player, although what player would think to play one of the 4-card-straight cards twice because it would still score?
Yeah, it's not very intuitive, but once I think about the "double-straight" it makes more sense in my head.

getting rid of TWO bonus cards (in all fairness he was correct to dump the five in favour of a 1234 straight component because of superposition)
@@manolobrinks Didn't think about superposition. Just thought about the fact that there are more straights (in general) with 5 than with 3. Even if its not a bonus card, not sure if it's worth it since there are so little 5s.
Even without superposition, it was the right play because he had so many more Aces and got bonuses from them. A 5-6-7-8-9 would be way harder to come by and be worth a hell of a lot less
They should make a joker that adds the mult from the component hands that make up a hand. For instance if you have a full house, you get the full house mult + three of a kind mult + pair mult.

A shop devil card is basically only a dollar with a chance to pay out much more. worth it. just play it on something you keep right before you win.
I think in a previous video he considered buying the egg but then closed the shop saying "we'll save our money"

Ouija can be a god dam monkeys paw. "Yea having all the same is nice" But then it really hits you that i can really limit your plays. Even more so if it rolls a god dam 2 or other very low chip card.
Using it with the tarot that clones cards is a stupid easy win. Just slamming out 5 of a kinds over and over and over

His disrespect for mystic summit is beyond mortal comprehension. This man literally plays the game as if discarding is losing more value than playing junk hands and it is so tilting to watch sometimes. Especially when he says he needs to build money.
