Great list. Tobacco is one of my favorite scents and as a woman, I’ve tried many of these, but stick to Vanille Havane by Les Indemodables, Royal Tobacco as you mentioned, Xenial by Navitus (realistic tobacco note), Papyrus Moleculaire and when I want a more fem vibe-Sunshine and Portrayal by Amouage. All give better performance on me than TF, but that’s fun too.
Caron tabac exquis is like a freshly opened tabbacco pouch opened up ten that beautiful cacao dry down is beautiful. Love it ❤
A tobacco scent I just connected with is Tobacco Royal by Precious Liquid... Just incredible. The perfumer is the creator of Oud Wood, btw.

AHHHHHH YESSSS! TOBACCO!!! This is my kinda list!!
I do like Tobacco Royal but it didn’t speak to me upon first impression, I need to revisit my sample. However, Royal Crown’s Habanos is an incredible tobacco scent if you haven’t tried it yet! To me it’s got the robust, dry, cigar-like tobacco but also has this churchy incensey thing goin on and what smells like dark woods. Worth a try I think 😎

Amouage Journey Man is also a great choice. Very powerful fragrance with good projection.

in that list i would put also BDK Tabac Rose / Pana Dora Imperial Wood / Xerjoff 400 for me this 3 also are so good in tobacco, and Royal Tobacco is the best from all of this planet :D

Awesome list Bowtie. The one that stood out the most is Habanos with its amazing looking note breakdown especially since its from a house i have yet to try. Tobacco sapphire and Ambre Tabac come next as both are from houses i have tried and expect a lot from. Thanks for sharing your top tobacco scents

Is tobacco a good note to explore even if you don't smoke??
I have never smoked in my life (highly, highly allergic), and tobacco is one of my favorite notes 😂. I had a teacher in high school who opened a used book/record store, and when I would go there, I could smell his pipe tobacco. It was a very appealing scent, nothing like typical cigarettes or cigars.

Man i love the tobacco note and none of my tobacco scents smell a like
my tobaccco vanille smells like spices and is definitely too sweet. can't smell tobacco at all. Completely different from what I smell the first time in Milan. It was a beautiful smell of a sweet cigar. Anyone knows if it's a batch issue? or maybe needs maceration? If so, where can I buy older batches of TV? (or a fragrance that gives the same cigar effect)
