Thank you, I needed insight into the Starchy. I also prefer to prep in advance and pull it out of the freezer. Is the rice perfect? Yes, 56 pounds for the Suvie Robot means I need an execution plan to place that equipment (and possibly assistance from my dear husband).

Thanks for your review! I just wanted to point out that the two are a really great pair if you are mainly doing prep ahead meals. However, I do a lot of on the spot cooking, so it’s really frustrating when the starch cooker takes an hour to steam for 5 minutes or over an hour to cook rice.
I find that was more of a marketing problem and a lack of public knowledge, but it’s super frustrating at times.
All that being said, the Suvie itself is a great little stovetop oven that can refrigerate and cook meals without extra input, but you gotta know what you’re getting into.

There's always something wrong with the refrigeration. The food isn't terrible but it's not good and way too expensive.

That's why I do my own food. But sorry yours has issues with refrigeration. I'd contact support! This device definitely isn't for everyone.
