You got lucky. Mine destroyed itself when it rolled (with 1.1 hours on it). Broke all the plastic, moved the bumpers, shattered the gear selector gate, broke the linkage, snapped the handguard off completely, demolished the throttle module, pulled the taillight out the right side, bent the steering stem, broke a huge hole in the airbox, punctured the master solenoid, etc etc etc. Waiting on my air box now, have all the other parts. Not looking forward to it, but this video is very helpful. Thank you.
I think the reason they made the stem the way they did so that if you roll it hard like I did it won’t bend everything else below the stem bracket. When mine bent and snapped off it left the top mounting bracket for the stem and the Dps perfectly intact. I feel like if the stem is stronger and you roll it it might break everything else…
You definitely got lucky where you broke the top plate on the steering shaft, my buddy rolled my xxc and the shaft bent instead of breaking and crushed the airbox and i also had to replace that . Good video it was a pain to do that job . Well done 👏
At the front of the intake where the the column sits is there a small bracket that would close that opening off that would stop you from sliding the intake away from the steering column once unbolted? i thought i saw one on mine, and i see two holes on yours when you showed pulling it away from its seated position. my bike is a 2012 and everything looks the same from what I can tell. this video is really helpful and will save me a lot of time, I appreciate you doing it.
I copied n pasted the exact description: Fasst Company FL-1003-14-31 14° Quad Racer Flexx Handle Bar I love em, I rolled it since (in this video ua-cam.com/video/-fd_koM1qss/v-deo.html) and they held up well.
I agree & its the first thought i had after flipping in my first race, but I think the 450’s have their own dangers, like the speed at which they move through the woods to compete against each other. The 4x4s actually move slower in order to get around things effectively. The weight of the 4x4’s is dangerous but so is the speed of the 450’s.
Thanks brother, soon as my ribs heal I gotta change the stem on my outty.

Did it roll down hill? Dang! Yeah hope this video helps.
Thanks so much. Bent mine this weekend and will be doing this job. Knowing where those airbox bolts are will really help.
Awesome! Glad i could help!

Thanks so much for this!!! Very helpful as I just got to remove the box on my 2019 Outlander. You saved me a lot of time and frustration!
Broke my stem too. 10 hours on it. Left off throttle in the lip of a jump at 45 mph., rolled over a cliff in WV, Hatfield Mccoy
If I could come shake your hand and thank you personally I would! Awesome man, thanks!
Wow man! Thank you. Glad it helped.
Thank you so much for this video! You saved me so much frustration!

Bro I just did this to my BRAND NEW XXC. I have 1 hour on the machine. Bent and busted my box. That’s why I’m here watching 🤣

Hi, could you tell what type of flexx bar you have fitted? Is it 14 degree?

I had to buy the American flag print pad separate
Would this be the same install for a 2020 xxc 1000?
Can't say for sure but I'd have to say yes
What bar clamps?
Liquid aluminum.. pour it in.
Under warranty. Claim it
Didn’t have time to have it sit at the dealer’s. Fixed it, upgraded it, raced 2 weeks later.
Machine is to heavy to be raced. YFZ450R is what ya need
