In Australia, it is common to move 6-8 weeks after officially selling a house... Which is a blessing and a curse because you THINK that you can relax on the packing since you have sooo much time to get everything done... until it sneaks up on you and it turns into a panic. 😂 💖
It's so nice how you handle packing and moving to a new house with three kids
My children are grown up now, and it’s definitely true that children don’t need a huge amount of toys. With hindsight I would have bought them far less. They used to play with cardboard boxes just as much😂
I have a shelf and storage cabinet in the garage for canned goods and packaged foods as well as overflow. I don’t have a very big pantry in my kitchen. 😊
Maybe it’s a California thing!
You could keep the cubes in the shelf and just wrap some plastic wrap around it so that they don’t fall out!

Oh my goodness, when you were cooking the kielbasa I could smell it. We used to have kielbasa with either fried potatoes or rice all the time when I was a kid too and we’d have green beans or broccoli.Ahhh memories. 😊💕💕💕💕

We’ve been in the same house since 1997. Moving is so much work! Just wondering why you guys move every year. Is it that you’re moving up to a larger space every year?
We’ve just been figuring out what we wanted. We tried a different state, then moved back. We rented, then we bought 🥰

We moved last month and I put most of my kids toys that we didn’t donate into storage and they’ve only asked for one thing in the last month! They have been playing and so imaginative and it’s been wonderful

I too have moved my family several times. My suggestion to your Hudson getting into cabinets is to move all things to your empty top drawers in your bathroom. I always combine as much of the stuff I need to keep in the same drawers instead of having it spread all out.

@@simply-allie because your mind is in 100 different places with all the things that lay ahead of you 😄. Canning is so much fun. My MIL and I have done vegetables, jams, ham with green beans, steak and potatoes, and so much more. We do water baths and pressure canning! She's more the expert, but teaching me a lot as we go! I love that you do sourdough bread. I'm going to have to give it a try!
Oh that’s so helpful to be able to rent your current house from the new owners. It’s so stressful trying to move out of one home and into the new one all in one day!

Is this going to be your forever home that you’re moving to? The last 3x I moved by myself and it was very hard and especially with health challenges as well. You have a beautiful family.
