The state of Idaho. I love the Diablo 1 music in the background 😂
that is one killer cleaver!! that is Idaho. I would enjoy using that cleaver, just out of my price range
if every one of your videos had that song in it, it would be amazing. it never gets old. oh yea sweat video and cleaver.
Need to chop some Idaho potatoes with it. Google tells me the Russet would be the most fitting variety.
Recently picked up the Off Grid Knives Hoglet Mini Cleaver...now I want to EDC a beast like the above. What a *very* useful every day knife.
Xpat is a person. He was/is a trainer for Randall's Adventure Training. I take it this was his idea.
Now you have a cleaver for the apocalypse!!
the steel cut out is in the shape of Idaho.
Challenge coils are used in bars to upstage another for a free beer.
I was trying to place the music ... Zelda, Diablo
+Howard green diablo - tristram main theme
Diablo music ftw.
That's Idaho
Haha I liked music on the one. The state looks like Idaho but I dont know for sure.
Would love to see the Fällkniven A1 PRO, but the price is really really high, thats the reason why it is not in my collection yet.
Great video's thanks for them.
Challenge coin is from the US military. You get them for serving in units and as commendations from superiors.
Datsyzerberg ahh gotcha - yes i figured it was some kind of group or kinship type thing. Thanks!
You should check out the Benchmade jungle clip point knife it is really amazing
*What's next, the ESEE Tactical Spatula?*
ogarzabello
Maybe a tactical whisk after that!
they already have tactical combes.
that cleaver in diablo is op
Diablo music, nice. Perhaps we can sell it for some health or Mana
For the non-gram proficient among us, 816 grams is 1.8 pounds (28.8 oz)
I didn't get a challenge coin with my recent ESEE purchase so I don't know if they still do them or if they only put them into certain products.
Ohh! E SEE
Sorry, did you mention it's heavy, ??? lol
Yeah pete 90% sure that is the good old state of Queensland
Idaho
That music tho
Not sure what the blade width is, but it can't be the 1.5" stated here. That's the width of the handle, maybe.
+Charles Collier yeah, those specs are of the handle, which is a weird way to write it (those are pulled from the site)
Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying.
Was that forged with the Horadric Cube?
Heavenly Cleaver of the Ox
The state is Idaho.
+Paul Hughes heheh the most embarrassing thing is that it says so on the box
So it looks kinda heavy. Not sure if you said so, but is it heavy?
;-)
Idaho is the state. Known for potatoes & the best weapons for use in a zombie apocalypse.
+ogenmatic it is particularly heavy, thats for sure. I should have mentioned it
are camping knives suppose to be that heavy?
I guess they can be whatever they want as long as they make themselves worth the weight!
well, true, but typically back packers look for the lightest stuff possible. campers too, but often people will drive to a campsite vs walk to a campsite, so thats negatable. but thats why i posed the question.
Cedric & Ada Gear and Outdoors
Depends on how long you have to weight. I'd imagine you'd have to weight a bit longer down under.
Three vids in one day? Long Service Leave?
Annual leave hahah - should be a pretty busy week or so, videos wise!
Show lbs and ounces fir the Yanks ay?
.308or5.56? Definitely 7.62
Diablo music?
certainly is! Cleavers remind me of the Butcher quest!
Didnt think of you as a gamer.
Just unboxed a brand new CRKT Fossil amazingly smooth for 40 USD. You should check one out.
ogarzabello Then complain about Spydercos. The super smooth IKBS, hammered steel scales and 3D machined G10 justify that price in my opinion.
The Fossil is better than my Natrix thats for sure. but you can keep both of them, i dont want cheap knives with crappy blade steel when i can save just a little more for something better than budget knives. and if your happy with the Fossil thats cool, the action is good, not so much the steel for that price. have you seen real steel knives? they have a bit of an upgrade steel for around the same cost give or take.
Tactical Center I've taken a look at them, but I'm not that interested. Saving my money for some higher end stuff for now.
They sold out of it? Kabar makes a better cleaver, twice as long at the same weight of better steel for less than half the price, and they had to discontinue it because of low sales. I guess when its esee it serious but call it zombie killer and it a joke. And the kabar came nasty sharp with 20/40 degree edge. Not hating, just musing.
Mt. Baldwin the cult of esee is potent
what is the popularity/sales of this esee cleaver? i don't know the cleaver market, or more specifically the market they are aiming with this cleaver. seems to me its expensive and heavy and most people that want a cleaver are cooks or butchers, not really outdoorsy thing to have if you ask me. im not saying its not useful and it definitely is awesome, i just dont see a huge market for it. i see people buying it to collect one for sure. as a useful tool i think it would be great too, it just doesnt look like an item the people looking for cleavers are going to buy. id like to see the comparison review and id also like to see a butcher or a chief use one (or if Peter dresses up as one that could suffice too lulz).
Esee cleaver... A chunk of junk... Worth for the money? Absolutely Not!
I am still reserving my judgement until I've tested it further - have you used one?
Cedric & Ada Gear and Outdoors I returned this directly when I got this, too heavy and unlike the coating. I got a Cold steel Cleaver in almost sametime, I feel more relaxed when I use this for bone cutting and cut food. And it's 4116 steel, and about 1/3 price of Esee cleaver. I do like your Ontario!
