This is a Training Aid we developed that can help anyone learn to play pool much better at any level.
The first two things to learn is what does straight really look like and can I hit the middle of the Cue Ball. This Training Aid will help you master these two basics which are the most important basics to start with. All shots stem from these two fundamentals. Two of the biggest benefits of this Training Aid is the ability to know how much you were left or right not just that you were left or right and there are no electronics, it is totally manual and should last a lifetime. Many Training Aids are electronic and simply tell you left or right but knowing by how much you were off center allows you to adjust properly for you needs. The three hanging rods pivot in all directions equally and their movement indicates how much you you were off center or maybe you were clean through the two outside rods.
It is also easily adjustable for difficulty from beginner to exactly the width of a cue ball.
We are two people who have decided to look into Back Hand English (BHE) and can it be mastered. We now call it "Pivot English" since it includes Front Hand English (FHE) and sometimes a combination of both. Back Hand English is extremely Bridge dependent and cannot be mastered without understanding where to bridge for different shots. We also have videos to help learn this.
We started out trying to find Bridge Points of a pool shaft using various shot criteria. Where should I bridge for a shot that has the cue ball 2 diamonds from the object ball and using a medium weight or 3 diamonds distance with hard weight etc. To this end we developed the "Ultimate Training Aid" and It worked amazing for this purpose but we also discovered that it is amazing for so much more. There are 2 of us that have key skillsets from our lives and we have spent over 10 years studying what makes a shaft tick. How does the bridge location affect the Cueball's behavior. That thought has changed our entire outlook on how to control spin and trajectory of the Cueball. By knowing what the outcome of a certain bridge location is we can now control the Cueball very accurately. Instead of aiming to one location to end up in the ghost ball center, which is how pool has been played using Parallel English for 400 years, we aim dead true every shot. By understanding where to bridge we can use a specific bridge location for the present shot and aim true. The bridge times deflection and swerve to send the cue ball exactly to the ghost ball center. My cohort aims ghost ball and I am point to point and this system works regardless. Our only concern is how the cue ball spin affects the object ball and we aim according to this. Watch the 30 degree cut shots video, every shot is exactly the same but due to different locations we want for the cue ball to end up we apply different spins so we adjust our aim based on cue ball spin or lack of spin. Each shot is aimed dead true with varying bridge locations based on power and cue ball to object ball distance. Our aim of the object ball is adjusted due to the cue ball spin.

Good design. I have an enhancement idea: the left and right hanging rods can be connected to the tongue of 2 micro-switches. If any of the 2 rods moves, it produced a sound. Say "Bee" on the left and "Doo" on the right. In this way, you do not need to watch closely on the ball that passes through the gate.
That would be cool but one of the mandatory conditions of our design was no electronics, that way it is able to last forever. The rods are very light and move very easily and this is also important for recognizing subtle movement. The subtle information from the rod movement is very important and therefore you will always need to watch the rods. Other training aids that simply tell you right of left do not indicate how much left or right and this info is of the utmost importance to the shooter for knowing how much to adjust. All thoughts are good thoughts but this Training Aid was intended to be non electronic from the start for a reason. Thanks for the input and certainly keep them coming.
This is much like something I drew up plans for. Looks like I don't need to anymore as you beat me to the punch. 🙂
One thing I did have on my plans was having something on the top to support holding a phone so that players can record themselves while shooting. This will aide in determining alignment, vision center and stroke flaws.
@@alsmith6476 Sorry to beat you to the punch. You are very correct about its uses and it also does so much more. It was originally developed to find pivot points on a shaft and has proven itself extremely versatile in learning to play pool.

Yes it can be the Ultimate Humiliator but after some quality time you will be the Ultimate Humiliator. There is no booklet but the videos cover amazing routines and things to practice.
