@@pSykSG I don't usually go for printed blasters. To be precise this is the first printed blaster that I can see myself using. Having one of these in forest green with black and yellow safety tape for trim would be amazing!

You'll be happy to know that the grip on the Lynx V2 (just shipped out 5 beta kits today for testing!) is indeed a fair amount "girthier" and all around more comfortable in my opinion. In addition I'll be shipping hardware kits from now on with my own printed turnarounds and plungers to hopefully squash any remaining sealing issues. I gotta get you a Lynx V2 to review! Thanks again =) p.s. - there are only 4 Taurus blasters in existence (I have 2, KellyIndustries and Slug each have 1,) but maybe that might change someday?

My favourite 3d printed/hardware blaster I've ever seen. I definitely want one. Love that colour. Worker sells a transparent foregrip similar to that one. The only thing that I would want from this blaster is it to look like the SMR from Black Ops 2. Also good to see you keeping on
Not to take away from all the time and effort that went into designing this, but this reminds me of the old old homemades MIG’s old “multiple orgasms” I think was the first of it kind and pioneered (from what I remember, I’m sure someone else may have done it before) the floating plunger head/moving catch. The blasters seems similar, but his used hoppers. I know shortly after, people like (I think, I could be wrong, long time ago) An the hero is made it mag fed (with the old pak d mags) very similar in concept.
You’re absolutely correct. I initially mentioned MIG’s MO but after looking at older build threads this was already linked back with the paper trail by Captain Slug. You can find all the info in NerfHaven, so i decided to cut that part out of the video.
Gives me those same vibes! I do believe MIG was the first to do a proper bullpup homemade like you thought. If I remember correctly Louiec3 had just recently stopped developing things and captain slug was doing a lot of his wizardry when the multiple orgasm came out. But I don't think anyone else was. Daniel Murray and NOM were still building awesome blasters but not necessarily designing them. So I'm pretty sure MIG did the bullpup first. Only other person around that time I could see coming up with it is Louiec3 but he doesn't have anything like that on his photo bucket. (Which is a huge trip BTW.)
You are absolutely correct, I took a lot of inspiration from the classics for my Taurus and Lynx blasters. During the design process I'd often struggle with something for weeks, and then a few hours browsing on NH would show me a perfect solution that was made 5-10 years ago. Humbling!

Correct! A fun bit of trivia, the metric lynx uses thumbscrews instead of pins, but the holes in the stock are still there! They have become part of the aesthetic.
I actually know Dan in person, he abandoned the Taurus in favor of the Lynx because he was having too many problems with it. What problems specifically, you'd have to ask him
I know space is an issue in SG but you should get a 3D printer! You could save so much money on blasters and shipping of parts! The lighting is looking good in this video!
@@pSykSG I guess you just need to think about how many blasters you could but and how much you would save by printing them yourself :-). I actually made back the money I spent on my printer but printing parts for other people :-)

Check out the Chimera if you want a full sized bullpub ; but I love the Lynx from what I have seen absolutely need to build one.
I've always know about the Chimera. That's been around for a long time.
