I have never had much luck with the impact driver. I always end up carefully drilling the heads off. Great video series by the way!

I was fitting a new cam chain to my CT110 in my garden. Putting the parts in a tray on the ground beside me. I didn't notice one of my chickens sneak up & peck peck gobble... It swallowed the pin from the camshaft! I made a new one from a drill shank. I should have followed your advice & left it in the cam. 😀

Ha ha. You can follow your chicken around the yard with a magnet. Step, Step, poop. Step, Step poop.

I stripped almost every x screw, tip=if you strip a screw beyond any type of removal, pinch with corner of a vice grip(all the way closed) slowly remove as this is your last chance

Do you know where I can find a stator if mine is bad?

You can check with your honda dealer. But these parts are obsolete and may be hard to find new. Ebay is a good source for used parts. Or you might find someone with a hoard of CT90s locally that might sell you a stator.

I tested it the way you showed and it showed no resistance. I will do more testing when I get it running.
I'm sure I will be watching more of your videos, they are very well done.
      Thank you

@@timwieland9942 The resistance will be low - just a few ohms. Did you use a low range for your meter? The stator coils, as the name implies, are just coils of wire and will not have much resistance. But zero resistance would be a problem. Maybe an open wire somewhere. You can also look for physical damage to the coil windings and to the wires coming out of the stator. Lastly, as you plan, you can wait until you get the motor running and see if the alternator is charging the battery.

My meter is a Fluke 101 it just has one setting for ohms.
      Probe to probe is o.4
      Pink to yellow is 3.3
      Pink to white is1.4
      White to yellow is 3.9
So there seems to be some restance. I am good with the mechanical but the electrical I have issues. Thanks for your help.
I am working on getting the throttle body un stuck. Then I will clean it good and see if I can get it to run.

@@SoCalBruce I should say throttle cable from the top of the carb. Not throttle body.

I'll admit that you had me cringe every time you wacked that case with the metal hammer. Those aluminum cases crack way too easy for my liking. I have a rubber hammer just for these things.

It would also help if I took all the screws out before trying to split the case. But thanks for the suggestion.
