- The Luxeed S7 electric sedan was launched in China, starting at 249,800 yuan (35,200 USD) and featuring a very low consumption of 12.4 kWh/100km. Thanks to 800V architecture, it can charge 430 km in 15 minutes. It features Huawei's ADS 2.0 self-driving package, which also supports a self-parking function.

Not sure this is a pre-assigned parking spot. If this can look for open parking space, that would be perfect.
At first, the car goes to a pre-assigned spot. If the spot is occupied(at 0:56, left side Chinese says the spot is taken), then the car itself looks for any nearest available parking spot.
the car scans the parking spaces in the underground parking lot, then picks the available one, or the owner can select a per-assigned spot for it to park, if it's taken then it will look for the next available parking spot.

I assume this would only work in a parking structures where the car can recognize which is ok to park which is not ok to park. It would avoid handicapped and police space for official use. I certainly would buy this since it will make every day live much easier.

At present, it can only find parking spaces on the same floor, and the version will be updated in the future to let it find parking spaces on other floors.
