Here's a thought , imagine what the next northlane album will sound like
I'm excited. If they perfect the sound they've got going on we're in for a treat.
Tip-toe through the ruins of my mind
Desolation in disguise
I've been locked out of my thoughts for a real long time
The rusted gates deteriorate
Do my insecurities relate?
It's like I'm waiting to fall apart (to fall apart)
Waiting to fall
Waiting to fall
Waiting to fall apart
My eyes are a sight below the surface
The veil's wearing thin
I don't fit into my skin
Maybe I'm just like the rest of them
But I refuse to take the medicine
To escape the mess I'm in
Outspoken by the voices in my head
The voices in my head
My mind is silenced
By the talking heads
Chattering at me
With every waking breath
My eyes are a sight below
These voices I can't put to rest
My eyes are a sight below
The veil's wearing thin
I don't fit into my skin
Maybe I'm just like the rest of them
But I refuse to take the medicine
To escape the mess I'm in
Outspoken by the voices in my head
The voices in my head
My mind is silenced by the talking heads
Drowning out reason, drowning in lament
My mind is silenced by the talking heads
Outspoken by the voices in my head
Outspoken by the voices in my head, fuck
My mind is silenced by the talking heads
Chattering with every waking breath
My mind is silenced by the talking heads
Outspoken by the voices in my head
Wish this was an actual visual of the concert but still. This is amazing.
Yeah you had to watch the concert stream to see it. I'm glad they uploaded the audio but happy they saved the video for that bc we did pay money to see it haha
@@vigaxan86 I paid 3 times to watch those streams, and I would pay more money for them to release it publicly. Every single person possible needs to see that show.
@@zacredington4776 I think a DVD release or something like that would be awesome

@@TyT-eo8wc That's been removed... got a copy still?
i will never get enough of the riff at 2:13
Sounds better live tbh

Yeaaaaa it does NOT sound like that on the album for me
The album sounds like a well produced game soundtrack, this version sounds like a straight wall of death live moment!
What a performance, holy....
GET UP GET UP
these are mixed so well
everything about this is perfection
Wow these guys kill it live, marcus sounds pretty much the same as the album.
This is giving me chills. To me you can feel the emotion better than the album.
He's even better than on the album, I can't believe this!!!
If you are the singer of such a band as Northlane, you gotta give your everything.
@@EetFuk8 *laughs in BMTH and Asking Alexandria*
ADWing they are both trash now lmao
It really can't get better, this is absulte top notch performance.
The best modern heavy band around imo. Still needs even more popularity and success in the future 🙌
I love to play those recent lives on drums in my studio
the best soooonggggg i lov it
This, Jinn, Eclipse, and Sleepless.
@@thelastdaybreathinginetern1385 exactly 🙏
one of the best songs on the album for sure. and the instrumental makes u feel godlike
Northlane featuring Jonathan Davis 1:16
Damn this sounds better live wtf. I wanna see these dudes again it's been awhile...
holyyyyy, this is a masterpiece
the pipes on this lad
I still get goosebumps every time I hear this song.
What a way to kick off a show!
This album has been on constant replay for me since it came out I've never loved an album so much and so consistently before. And now this. Its like the novelty of new music while still being familiar, I love how it shines a new light on the songs but sounds just as good. Northlane you are really something special.
I’ve been listening to the live album more than the actual recorded songs, its so good
Marcus is the GOAT man. So much passion.
Hearing how rough he sounded gave me chills and sent shivers up my spine. His cleans following it raised the hairs on the back of my neck and made me relax for the first time in a while. Damn 😅
I'm not ready for this..
😐
Yeahhhhhhhhh🖤🖤🖤🔥
Sickkkkkk
Damn I wish I could see them performing and the crowd
Marcus sounds fucking killer in this!! His screaming is so powerful
Brutal amigos ... Esta banda es increible ..
Marcus is a beast!
Pure amazing. I've been blasting this album since last year definitely winter of 2019 walking through the cemetery in the early morning. Can't wait for them to do Jinn next.
Best underground band right now, always putting incredible live sets!
🔥🔥🔥😈🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Not releasing this gig on DVD would be criminal
Man 🔥🔥🔥
Holy shit... I'm blown away..
Savage of a song
Amazing.
Update: This is mindblowing.
i wish the whole intro section was used on the actual album. The tension building makes the drop so much harder
this song rocks hard
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
sounds so sick
Amazing 🤘🤘🤘
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
So fckn good
Chills. This is fucking sick.
I've been waiting for this.
Edit: HOLY FUCK
My mind is silenced by the talking heads, outspoken by the voices in my head FUCK!
Brabo, apenas
And the live video? :(
3 people had a stroke during the breakdown, resulting in the thumbs down
My prostate is growin.
Incredibly sick!! But......has anyone else heard a certain yellow sponge when he’s screaming in this one? Or is it just me.
I love it, but Marcus should take better care of his voice. Those highs sound painful as fuck. Covering those parts of the song are pretty difficult for me, so I can only imagine how much strain it is on him to do this so frequently.
I mean, honestly though, you are not a benchmark for Marcus. I mean, I don't know how well you can sing, but everybody's voice and tolerance is different. It's a technique that clearly works for him, and he does it evening in, evening out, and still his voice sounds as strong as ever. Perhaps because this is ''the biggest Northlane show' he decided to put up a studio performance and not hold back, since there are no consequences for the next day like you have in a busy touring schedule.
@@_-TC Never claimed to be the benchmark. I'm just saying as someone who has been in "the business" for over a decade, I can recognize when someone is straining their voice. It doesn't sound bad, per se, just painful. The immediate consequences aren't too bad, but it can culminate in nodules on your vocal chords. No one want that.
@@galaxybrain9928 And yet he's been doing it for years, and yet here he is. So it does seem he knows what he's doing. Not every person works the same way, you can't assume things from people, even after being in the business for a decade or more. You can observe, not conclude anything without actually knowing the other person's side.
Been thinking the same thing, but thats what makes marcus such an awesome vocalist the fact that you can tell his vocal parts arent easy too pull off this well live and hes been soo consistent so that kinda takes some of my worries away.
Surprise surprise, all screaming done with enough force is essentially straining your voice. There are techniques that almost nullify this strain but in turn the vocal is not as powerful. So, it is always on the vocalist to gauge out just how much he wants to limit himself regarding the strain. I doubt Marcus really thinks about this anymore he's been doing it for quite a while. Also, this was the 10 year mark for their band being together and an aussie/home show. Wouldn't be fair to expect him to hold back much.
Only decent song they have since the OG singer in my opinion can’t get into their other shit
"Doom eternal soundtrack is soo heavy" lmao northlane did better js.
