thank you so much for all your support on the series! what should I make next?
Drone photography tips!
Reviewing classic photos, famous photographers from the last century etc
critique of my feed and shots (as well as some other lucky viewers :p ) :)
Pat, this series has been so insightful! I would love to see some content revolving around preparing images for print, web, and your workflow to best organize your photos. Touching up on color management and keeping that workflow consistent between LR and PS would be a giant plus. Btw, any recommendations on Adobe RGB monitors? Thanks so much
Thank you for making these videos!
also, drinking game: take a shot every time i say "obviously". obviously.
I also think heuristic is one of your fav word😉
Idk if I can take another shot 😅😅😮💨
Incredible series. Your teaching style is great and it's obvious that you care deeply and have a passion for your craft. No gimmicky titles or hot takes. Just pure knowledge sharing. I learned a ton and you've inspired me to get out there and keep making stuff that matters. Many thanks 🙏
Watch this video 2 years after, I can tell that you've improved a lot. Love your work!!!
I wouldn't have been able to make my master's thesis on photography without your series. Thanks for everything you've done
i hope it was helpful!
I can't believe I've watched all 10 of these videos, I've never watched a series on UA-cam where I actually paid attention to every minute. Just incredible teaching and I've learned so so so much. Thank you Pat!!
Definitely buying the lightroom course as a way to support you this was so condense and informative.
Really enjoyed this series, would recommend this to anyone who is just starting their photography journey (like me). Thanks!
Ayyy! Such a good video dude - was actually so stoked to see you included my photo 😍😍 thanks bro! Hope you’re well
Thanks for this series, dude. It’s been a fun year since joining the discord and getting more acquainted with your work. Can’t wait to see what you got coming up next.
Discord gang, yeah! :.D
Best series on this Chanel!
I started photography around a year ago and stumbled upon your visual patterns series. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the majority of the improvement I have seen in my photography is thanks to this series and the awesome explanations and examples you provide. Thank you so much for creating such an incredible series and helping me on my photography journey so far. As for suggestions, I'd love to see a video about the basics of drone photography and how to capture a landscape effectively.
Looking forward to what you have in store next!
This series has improved my photography massively. Thank you so much for making it
Absolutely loved this series Pat! I have learnt a lot on this background info that prob wouldn't otherwise be part of my thinking process.
I find it hard to apply it on my photos for some particular examples on a daily basis, would be great to have some practical videos on things you'd think when you are shooting, specifically when it comes to the "triangle of exposure". Would love to see how to actually decide what to priorize depending on different scenarios.
This series opened my eyes to a new world, very practical, easy to understand, and loaded, thank you
Thank you! I learned more from your series than everything else I've studied COMBINED over the past 3 years. Many blessings to you. I will be buying your Lightroom course.
this series is an absolute treasure trove of knowledge, big props to you man and huge thanks for putting it together! I learnt so much
Series was fabulous. Thank you. After each session I would go out and practice. Love your wisdom
Thank's for your job. After following your series I can see patterns everywhere.
I’ve been taking notes and watching all these 10 videos 😭😭 awesome and can’t wait to get my first camera!! wish me luck man👨🏽🦯
Thanks for this series, man. I'm gonna try and use these techniques more consciously from now on 🙏
Thank you so much for putting together an awesome series-
love the intuitive, to-the-point and practical nature!
Great job Pat. Thanks for sharing. Much of what I learned when starting out in my photography hobby 10 years ago seemed to zero in on the rule of thirds. As such, I spent most of the past 10 years stuck in the rule of thirds in many cases. This visual hierarchy has video has indeed helped me to better understand visual patterns and power of different compositional techniques that will change how I look through the viewfinder in the weeks ahead. Great stuff! I look forward to my next photo walk as my learning continues.
I really like this series of yours its helped to understand of the good photography thank you :)
I know this has been out for a while, but it was my first time through the series. I appreciate what you have done. I have spent a couple of years trying to learn photography, but as I tried to learn and follow photography rules, I found myself getting lost trying to make sure everything was working right, and missed a lot of shots because of it. I like your approach.
Hey Pat Kay! I just posted my first video yesterday thanks to the inspiration from your channel growth this past 12 months. Thanks for everything and keep the instructional content coming!
thanks for watching!
Thanks a lot for all of this important information that you provided in this serie. I'll keep in touch to enjoy and learn with all of your content. Greetings from Venezuela
An amazing series that I will revisit again and again. Great work Pat!

Great series! I’ve binged the episodes and will come back to get inspired. Thank you!
Thanks very much, dude. It sad that the series was end. But if can request, i need more video analysis like this. It makes me understand how visual patter can be appied on different scenario. Love this video so much!
Thank you so much for the series... Its really helpful.
Great series of very useful videos. Thanks a LOT
Wow, I feel like you just put me years ahead on my photo and video path. Thanks for spreading your knowledge!
Fantastic insights that you share here, very interesting and , I hope, helpful to me. Thanks so much!
An extrordinarly concise and well explained insight in to the topic, Pat. I’ve enjoyed the entire series. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into this.
When it comes to this topic however I always have to wonder how much of it is intent vs how much is post shot rationalisation.
This was such a wonderful series, great information! Thank you for creating such great videos!
Thank you, Pat. This series is amazing!
Frankly, I'm a designer, I watched this series and related these principles to design principles... very helpful
Hey Pat Kay! Thank you so much for the series. I love the way you explain everything. It has definitely given a lot of insight and added to my interest in exploring Photography. I don't own a DSLR but I take photos with my phone and the challenges that it gives helps in thinking even more creatively. This series has made me conscious about what I see when I take a picture. Please keep making such series and videos.
Great series. Thanks so much Pat 👍
Thank you for a wonderful series ~
Hi Pat, amazing series, I am still digesting it, but I suspect this will be a reference I will come to quite often. To have those visual patterns in mind is a great tool to add interest and drive the audience’s eye to the photo subject. If there is just a touch I would add is the meaning of lines, such as horizontal lines giving a static more balanced feel and diagonals giving more energy, this could go into your balance class. I am a fan of your channel and have seen many of your videos, keep the good work! 👍
Thank you for this awesome series! I think this is literally one of the best educational video series on photography here on UA-cam. I really enjoyed watching every episode of it and I really learned a lot! Thanks so much and keep up the great work !

I‘ve learned so much, thank you so much 😊
Awesome awesome series!
So informative! 🙏
Thanks to the series, I always struggle with composition, what is good or bad. Still, after watching this series, it is easy to understand that whatever pattern or mix of the patterns will deliver the final product.
“If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.” - Einstein ... what else can I add? Thank you so much for the series and doing things that matter, you are an extraordinary human. ❤
Hey! Love ure "visual pattern" series - such a great job and explanation❤

amaze
hello photogs
Let MITCH LALLY know I made it here safely. Appreciate the knowledge
Man I love your videos and you are genuinely fun to watch but I have one problem that I see again in this video, if you are making a video about reviewing random photos try to include random photos and not all of your friends, that makes you a bit less likeable in my opinion.
