I think you probably missed the point of it as i did but i realised moments later what they’re trying to do. I think people forget how easy it is to turn a blind eye to things that seem disturbing, but the lyrics tell u different. Dont look away, specially when the things we created kill, hurt, or harm. I definitely hope you listen to the song without the video cause it’s an absolute banger! as far as how their most recent music videos go, I obviously can’t answer their direction, but I have an opinion. there is definitely an artistic approach to the way that these videos are filmed and that in itself to me is intriguing. like they are beautifully shot. and on top of that I think an intention is to make people uncomfortable but with real life things that happen that we don’t really talk about whether is has to do with culture, violence, taboos, etc. there are things in this world that certain groups of people are forced into that are horrific. and there are things within different cultures and humans in general that maybe a 1st world person might be ignorant about or prefer to look away. and like specifically this video, the song title speaks for itself. there are certain phobias or taboos that people would probably look away from. idk it’s all up for interpretation but that’s how I see it personally.

I think they are just gonna be releasing singles and they turn into albums vs a few singles followed by an album like usual with bands. Landon has said he’d rather release singles vs albums since singles leading up to albums get the most attention of the songs and he doesn’t want that with his music. So I think we will be seeing lots of singles and EPs coming out from TPIY

There are supposed to be four 3-song EPs that will all be compiled into an album later. This is the second song on Volume 2. Volume 1 was Divide, Left Behind, and Forgotten. Volume 2 so far is Closure and Don't Look Away. Kind of a stark contrast, ha.
