As much as most people like to hate on them, I truly believe that this is the type of company we needed. A edgy tech company that continues to innovate and try something new, setting a new trend and pushing the limit in this hobby.
@@z4k1_zaki65 their marketing sucks. they remove negative feedback on their discord. I hate their prices. mun from rgbkb has a bigger touchpad and is ortho. these pompous youtubers make me mad. just imagine how lucky a company is to have someone with thousands of loyal fans seeing a 400$ toy and wanting to buy it when its secretly an ad. all the company has to do is send a unit to review with no money incentive. buying old keyboards like the apple 2 and throwing out the monitor is a cancer to retro computer collecting. the thock has everyone brainrot on buzzwords. there is no innovation at cheaper prices, and aluminum blocks hurt the planet as does any other technology. if its better than cheap plastic membranes, but then what is topre if mech = good?
I have to say, I thought the same until I bought an hhkb. Now, I can't go back! The ctrl in the caps lock spot just makes so much sense after you use it for a bit
Better than arrow keys, but this is an over-engineered solution to a problem which is better solved with layers. You can make your spacebar a layer key on hold (and still space on tap). Then use something like i, j, k, l or e, s, d, f as arrow keys on that layer. That way you never even have to move your thumb from the spacebar or any of your fingers from the home row.
yes. this is solved perfectly with split keyboards, as you have more than 1 "spacebar" key you can assign to only activate layer shifts. so you don't have awkward typing or disruptions to fps games.
The front bezel should have been bigger and this should have been been on the top like a touchpad on a laptop. At that point you can just put real arrows keys in the same place … gimmicky. Usability is shit.
no? why would I ever want to move my hand off the keyboard then move my hand back on my keyboard (your top position for touchpad) when you can just only move your thumb (am touch's position). you are not thinking. and I agree, the usability is sh1t. there are split keyboards that have a trackball mouse integrated into it and are even cheaper than this overpriced block.

@@oldfruless Then get a freaking 65% if you really need the arrows. Their target consumer is for people who wants a 60% or a HHKB with a unique twist

sounds really nice stock
This actually sounds really good. Although, they need a better cable!
Stock sounds really nice 💪🏻
Hi thanks 🙏 Nice vidéo, the keyboard sound muted no ?
I really liked the second sound test
VERY good sound for a stock board.
I have to say, split backspace on a keyboard like this would have been awesome
I'm typing this on my compact touch split backspace laser ;)
this looks dope, I wish I felt that HHKB was a useable format to me... I cannot get past not having CTRL in its standard spot for some reason.

could i set the spacebar to the touch field inatead of for example a arrow key with the software?
$400-450 bucks and no via qmk support? That's wild.
This board looks so gimmicky and isn't for me. If you like it more power to you.

The "LESS IS MORE" branding is so ironic, what were they thinking lol
oh I doubt anyone else is gonna be getting that case you got with your review unit so the value goes even lower
Siiiick, i should have bought one lol
Spacecables has it still

@@VD-cc4hx you can use it on top with your thumb. It's just closer / easier to reach.
I love you
