You are an excellent teacher. I love how you patiently go step-by-step, not taking anything for granted and teaching us. I look forward to learning many more things from you. I just made the tissue gift holders. That was a great tutorial as well. Be blessed.
Deanna, for someone who claims not to be a sewist, you really can sew... and you are a superior tutor! You make it SO easy! Thanks for taking the time to explain and model the sewing process for us. From Cheryl in AZ.
The bags are delightful! I couldn't help but think how cute a 3-pack holiday assortment would be to buy at your craft show. Take 3 holidays (Halloween, Christmas, & Easter) & bundle them together for a gift giving package. Perfect for the girl who loves to tote around in style.🛍
My friend and I had a sewing day yesterday and made these. They are absolutely sweet and lovely. Thank you for sharing. I'm making the lunch tote for my daughter, along with some other of your projects... boxy pouch, flat pouch and coin purse for Christmas. I haven't had so much fun for ages. Thankyou, all the way across the pond, from South Devon in England.x
Hello! Adorable bag. I just stumbled on your video and love your style ❤ BTW Pellon 808 and 809 are the same product in different widths. 😊 808 is 20” 809 is 45”.
💕 Thank you so much for telling us the name of the fabric line, it’s very much appreciated! Beautiful little Tote, just Wonderful! I watched a video last week, and I wanted to know the name of the fabric line, but nope, everything else was linked, or listed, but not what I actually needed/wanted. So Again Thank You :) ❤️
Deanna - These are super cute tote bags ! I think they will make cute gifts for many people! Thank you for sharing your totes with us. Glad your family arrived safely to their destination. Have fun sewing & crafting. 👏👏💞
Thank you for this easy tote tutorial. And I agree with some of your other followers, you really can sew. I love seeing all your projects, because I craft and sew too. Thanks again.
Awesome tutorial, this bag is so adorable and well made. Adding the binding to the top contrast piece is brilliant, it makes the bag look expensive, like those fancy pricey ones....I check my sugars too, what a pain it is sometimes. Thanks for doing this for us!
These came out beautifully!! It makes me want to pull out my machine from storage! I used to sew all the time but don’t do much any more. Maybe it’s time to grab it again and make some cute bags like these! Thanks for walking us through these! ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Deanna, Your Totes look absolutely lovely 😁 with the Christmas Fabrics you choose 💕 thank you for the Tutorial I will definitely make myself some for my Crochet & knitting projects 😋 Erica x
Thank you very much for the pattern and instructions that were easy to follow.I just made this bag and it is so cute. After I finished I noticed there was a cut in the fabric just below the handle so to hide this I sewed a piece of ribbon with a D ring on it. It looks like it was meant to be there. I will be making another one soon.
You could SEW VERY WELL, I am Loving Those Bags Very Much and everything You make watching you while I make my Cards & Decorations for the Holiday.. My Surgery in My hands is not too Good but I keep moving along doing What I like. 👍😘💐🍗
OH MY GOODNESS!! I LOVE THESE!!! Deanna, you make me want to try everything that you make. You are soo awesome. I love that you are using the gifts that God has given you to bring some positivity to oir world.
Hi Deanna! I just found your channel, love the cute bags and love your key fobs tutorial. Yes I hit the subscribe and clicked on that bell. Have a nice weekend
You asked what we were doing, well have have been watching you. I love these bags and would like to purchase 5 of them for teen age girls. Not Christmas fabric but will looking
Hi Deanna! Your tote bags are SUPER DUPER CUTER! Great tutorial! Awesome job! I have a feeling these will sell well. God bless you and yours, Tree 🙏 😊❣
Deanna - glad I found you! I wonder if you have a tutorial on how you quilted the inside of the red/black checked bag. I would love to see how that is done. It looks so professional. Thank you.
Love the bag tutorial!! Would it work to bind the top, like a self binding or would it not because if the straps? I will have to add this to my list for sewing gifts!
I was just watching your tutorial and I just had a thought concerning the brim. Do you think it would work to make one side of the brim longer so you could fold it over the raw edge, This would be done by adding a little extra onto the brim ? By the way I love your bags.
I love all your craft fair ideas. I know in the past you made the ice cream pint cozy but I thought I would tell you that the bowl cozies you make, they make pint cozies patterns too. Just slightly different measurements. They are great for those cups of soup or dairy queen blizzards. If you need the measurements i would gladly share! they usually come out to a 3x3 inch base!
Love all your videos - you are so creative. I wished you would allow your subscribers to purchase your items. My sewing machines are buried and I am busy doing other crafts (students in my religious ed class make cards for shut-ins) and I am going to do those mini rolling pins you did a tutorial on. Please let me know if I could purchase 1 each of those Christmas bags.
Thank you for sharing these! Your amazing! I needed a project for my Girl Scout troop to do for Christmas and this is a fabulous item they can make, fill with goodies, and give to their teacher, mom, grandma, or even a friend for Christmas. My daughter (14) wants a sewing machine for Christmas, do you have any recommendations for a good beginner machine? Mine is a bit more advanced and it was a gift so I’m not sure what would be good for her. I showed her these bags and she loved them. Good luck at your Craft fair, I’m sure you will sell those right away. Our fair is on the 20th and my daughters will be selling donuts and coffee and donating the funds to the community center (They do it on behalf of their troop). But they love looking and buying all the homemade crafts everyone sells. Lots of talent in craft fairs ❤️
Yay! I love all of your tutorials but your sewing ones are my favorite! This tote is so cute! I went to order the interfacing but 808 and 809 are both fusible. 809 is described as heavy-duty. Would you say the one you used is regular or heavy-duty? Thank you so much for sharing! 🤩 🤩 🤩
These are just adorable. You have such a knack for coordinating your fabrics. Can I ask where you live and where you sell these. Are you selling them at a craft fair or on an Etsy shop
Why dont you just stick the handles in between the lining and outer fabric and sew them. Then that extra fabric wont be needed around the top. When I was making them, I figured that out...lol
You are an excellent teacher. I love how you patiently go step-by-step, not taking anything for granted and teaching us. I look forward to learning many more things from you. I just made the tissue gift holders. That was a great tutorial as well. Be blessed.

Deanna - glad I found you! I wonder if you have a tutorial on how you quilted the inside of the red/black checked bag. I would love to see how that is done. It looks so professional. Thank you.
I don’t believe it was quilted
Deanna, if you serge around the brim (raw edges) , would you still add the bias tape? Thank you for the sharing . So Cute!
Love it
What a great idea!

What is the size of the final product?

Thank you for sharing these! Your amazing! I needed a project for my Girl Scout troop to do for Christmas and this is a fabulous item they can make, fill with goodies, and give to their teacher, mom, grandma, or even a friend for Christmas. Aww thank you!!! Maybe just try a inexpensive brother machine. I bought one for my granddaughter at Walmart
Yay! I love all of your tutorials but your sewing ones are my favorite! This tote is so cute! I went to order the interfacing but 808 and 809 are both fusible. 809 is described as heavy-duty. Would you say the one you used is regular or heavy-duty? Thank you so much for sharing! 🤩 🤩 🤩
I think I used heavy duty
Thank you!!!
These are just adorable. You have such a knack for coordinating your fabrics. Can I ask where you live and where you sell these. Are you selling them at a craft fair or on an Etsy shop
I live in north Texas and I only sell in a craft fair
@@CraftyCraftsByDeanna thanks
Why dont you just stick the handles in between the lining and outer fabric and sew them. Then that extra fabric wont be needed around the top. When I was making them, I figured that out...lol
Do you have an Etsy shop?
Where can I buy a tote?
No I’m sorry I only sell at my craft fair
What part of Texas do you live?
Dallas
Use some bias tape over the sean
Thank you!!
This is a lot more complicated than some I've made
I was thinking $15
Can we talk about your machine. Please
I have a singer modern quilter. 😊
