I just started reading Frieren and I enjoy it so far! Last year's favorites: - Rozi in the Labyrinth! (3 vol long story, I enjoyed it a lot and the artwork too!) - Kagegurui -- I had watched the anime first but the manga has amazing artwork imo ! The style really fits the story ❤ I love it! - Gigant --- Interesting and a pleasant surprise 😂 - Continued One Piece 😮😮😮 still kicking a** ❤❤ I usually read some romance in the mix too but I didn't read too many manga (or books in general) in 2023 overall...

My favorite new manga series of 2023 was Call the Name of the Night. It has one of the prettiest art styles i've ever seen and i love the characters 😍 My favorite ongoing series are still Colette decides to die, Natsume's Book of Friends, Witch Hat Atelier, ReLIFE, In the Name of Mermaid Princess and Laid-Back Camp 😁

Skip Beat reminds me plot wise of Honey Hunt. It is about a girl who is the daughter of a famous actress and musician and she enters the industry to try and beat her mother after finding her with her childhood crush.
