Modern high speed rail operators use lowering signal gates on both sides of the road so it's not possible go around them. Instead of doing the obvious, Brightline prefers to crunch their engines and smash cars.
@@Scottish_Transport_Explorer Yes they can! They are literally upgrading the entire line up to Cocoa. They're just too cheap or too broke to build proper barriers and crossing gates.
Brightline like Miami Metro rail is poor people transportation. Too difficult for people who live in South Florida suburbs to get to it. Poor people are now going to go to disney? Good luck.

Most of those brightline engineers seem to love railfans, on many occasions I’ve seen them blow horns to the cameras.
Yeah, almost every Brightline I catch blows the horn.
It’s usually that they don’t want to hit anyone or anything so they blow the horn a lot
How are there no safety barriers or gates enclosing that railway?
$$$$$$$$$$
@Kalani Garnica That sucks. Just more of a risk to allow dumb people to cross or potentially enter the railway.
@@TheRailwayDrone Nah that would be natural selection at its finest.
@@josemanuellopezgiraldez404 I'm dying laughing lol...good point.
@@josemanuellopezgiraldez404 That might "select away" about half of the Florida population!
Is that clearance too low for FEC to run double stacked containers?
No, FEC intermodals can fit under the bridge. Here is a video I found that shows some double stacks there ua-cam.com/video/LFIrmBupl7s/v-deo.html
@@flrail9410 thanks, that had a lot more headroom than I expected

Well Brightline doesn’t own any of the line that they run on so they can’t really do much about it
