to limit or eliminate pivot, you can but glue or epoxy in the joint, if you are truly dedicated to changing. just a thought.
Summary: To shave well with a single blade (non-pivot) razor:
1) lather well;
2) grip with fingers at very bottom of the razor to avoid pressing too hard into your skin;
3) shave with locked wrist using and pivoting your whole arm;
4) use short strokes; and
5) practice the above for a month before switching to the new safety razor.
i have VERY thick, coarse and curly facial hair and i suffer from ingrown hairs. i switched to a double-edged safety razor and started to get ingrown hairs even worse! any suggestions? i try and follow your tips as well

That Remington King of shaves razor is the biggest piece of CRAP on the face of planet earth! If you don't believe me just check out the reviews. A family member got it for me because they were almost free due to horrible public reception. It was a sweet thought though. Cartridge razors are crap and a waste of money to begin with, but that thing takes the cake! Whoever let that thing get through consumer testing into the market should be kicked square in the nuts! DE safety razors for the win!!

I think you should skip the shaving to cover the double chin better
