To your questions: it annoys me when people buy cars and don't drive them. Investment, depreciation, blah blah blah. It's a car. It was built for the sole purpose of being driven. As for matching the 812 to the Speciale, well, why not? The colour is fantastic. Once the correction and ppf are done, that'll be a stunning set of siblings! Thanks for bringing us along, James! Cheers!
Agreed-the color is excellent. However, just imagine your first Speciale sitting in your garage with a matching 812 sitting beside it. With that in mind, was surrendering it on request the right decision, and would you do it again? I thought for sure they’d comp you with a Pista build slot…
I would get a car through the break in period and then get on it. But I don’t think it’s bad to buy and collect and keep it in your collection. You wouldn’t want to waste the miles because it would be so easy to run it up to 30k, 70k miles and that might kill it
Nope, waste gates vent exhaust gases(and thus sound like an exhaust as they are plumbed into the exhaust), that noise is a blow off valve, it vents intake charge when you lift off the throttle to prevent compressor surge.
Andrew Whalley I was waiting for someone to correct that. I knew it would happen. There's always someone who tries to find a mistake in a video and comment on it. Well, he's driving his speciale to spec his 812 superfast. So, there's that. Not to mention, wastegates don't always plumb back into the exhaust. Many modded turbo cars vent to atmosphere. O figure, who cares if he mentions the wrong vent, but I knew there'd be someone to correct it.
I actually think the 812 would look amazing in a dark deep blue / purple or in some shades of metallic grey. Dont get me wrong, the color on your Speciale is mind-blowing but there's no point having both cars look the same.
812 in TDF Blue with bright Siver TDF wheels for mine. Silver brake calipers. Scuderia hand paint shield. Less Cliche. More Class. Love your videos JWW. Always bring a smile to the face.
Made to be driven. Why on earth would you not want the experience to drive one of these cars, the noise, the acceleration, the smell, the wind in your hair. I can't believe a two owner car has 60 miles on it. Such a shame.
I can believe it, in Germany there was a special case of a Lady ( a secretary or something like that) who bought a Ferrari, she saved money for years to get her dream car. She could only afford to injure it 2 or 3 times a year so she didn't drive much with it. Her story got famous here after the car was stolen.
I don't usually comment, but since I'm so early I just wanted to say that I personally love your edits James. Great quality videos, especially with the music. Found some great tunes thanks to your videos. Take care, Tony.
Hey James, Don't usually respond to your vids but love to watch your content. From my point of view I would say *Don't* go for a 812 with the same specs as your 458, Find a spec that matches with your car nicely but not the same one! I mean pick a colour that fits with the red, but not the same. I'd say silver/grey or dark blue is a beautiful colour for the 812.
Jww, this is one of your nice vlogs, no ads, just plain us with you on your typical day cleaning your 458 and speccing your upcoming 812.... this was the foundation of your videos! More of this type of vids James!
These are your videos I most like to see. You enjoying your personal car life, having a bit of a chat and of course some rain for good measure. Enjoy the summer mate.
James once again you have done it great video! it is just awesome that you take us on these adventures. but for your question i really think people should drive the cars because they where designed for it. but if people just totally love them and want to collect them. that is also fine with me because at the end of the day it is their money. btw a awesome spec for a 812 is the colour Verde British with black rims, gold brake calipers and a matching interior!
I always love seeing these higher end cars being driven (given I don't see them often in person) but I love seeing them being driven (thanks Instagram haha). Big respect to you and how many miles you put on these beautiful machines!
Omg I used to live on the same road as that Ferrari dealer in handforth and the guy that took you round kicked my friend and I out for looking at cars for too long, overall quality content as usual James thank you very much
As he said Dark Grey would be great! But matching it with your 458 Specialè is gonna be epic! You'll miss the Specialè and at the same time have it!!😁 Great Upload +mrjww. Hoping to see the 812 Superfast soon!!!!
Great to see you show some love for the Cosworth, growing up my dad has had a few of them including an immaculate N reg small turbo one which is his pride and joy.
James, it's comforting to hear people talk about driving their special cars and not being to let it get rained on, get dirty, wash it, etc. Come what may! It's all part of the car's story. One of my cars (Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe) is a 1 of 1,255. In fact, it was the last one ever manufactured. The original owner put over 100k miles on it in the 7 years before I bought it. He drove it a lot, but he took good care of it. It may be rare and special, but that's all the more reason for me to get it out for others to enjoy. I've already done a roadtrip to Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas and have many more to come. Cheers from Oklahoma!
Well this was a great video. Big thumbs up for taking the time to include a section about that Lovely escort rs cosworth. Really enjoyed that quick insight. Hope to spot your 812 when you take delivery it will look sensational in that colour 👍👍👍
My spec on the 812 Superfast would have been Bianco Italia Opaco(white) exterior with Bianco(white) leather carbon fibre seats, with the black TDF style wheels, pretty much a "Miami Vice" Testerossa spec!!!! Congratulations on your future 812 purchase James!!!
Highly appreciate these personal "daily" videos. Thanks mate! Your Speciale colour is awesome, agree! However the 812 is a fast stylish GT = Blu Swaters (to match your jacket and shoes :-) with yellow calipers and hand painted yellow shield. Interior in Tortora Alcantara, Daytona racing seats. Cheers!
James I totally agree you should match the colours of both your Ferrari in the same colour as it will look top spec when sit together in your excellent photo shots for your new web site.
Nice colour but maybe try something a bit special, like a blue colour, but either way Loved the video James, Thank you for showing me that dreams can come true if you work hard enough!
Brilliant video !!!! Here's my views on things : A) I have a love for the Speciale that words can't describe ! B) These cars are designed to be driven and enjoyed !!!! Enzo would turn in his grave at these garage queens !!!! C) Matching the 812 would work as the spec is a great one , personally I'd go Blue Swaters , black TDF wheels :) D) Joe Macari is selling a Rosso Fuoco TDF - James !!!! Buy it please !!!!!
I go for Grigio Titanio with yellow calipers, Ferrari badge and darkish wheels - yellow and grey look great together esp with a metallic fleck in the Grigio Titanio. Then for road cars I choose a two tone leather interior - Cuoio and Crema. On long trips this is more comfortable on the eyes, less stress, as black is an absence of colour. No reflection issues with Cuoio and a crema headlining looks great. On the reverse side of Alcantara you have "smooth (napa) leather" if you want the convenience of synthetic, and it cleans up perfectly.
i have little chance of ever owing a Ferrari. the chance was presented for me to drive one on a race track this week. i was in Las Vegas and bought the chance. I got 5 laps driving a Ferrari 458 Italia. it was incredible. I was blown away. I thought of you driving the Speciale and honestly can't imagine a lighter, faster version. My first experience ever being inside a Ferrari and driving it as well; it was awesome. I have at least some sense now of what you get to do daily and I think it's wonderful. I had the time of my life. I enjoy all of your content. Thank you so much.
James HELL YEA you should match the 812 to the Speciale!! Your 458 is probably my favorite Spec there is, so the 812 will just look so sick side by side!!
Morning James. I ABSOLUTELY love the idea of you matching the 812 with the Speciale. I wonder if Ferrari would allow you to call them both the JWW editions. That would be amazing. Great video as always. Question. How do we send you renders if we are not on social media ????. Thanks. Eden
Definitely match the colour to your 458! Great colour choice. If it were me, i won't bother with the hand painted Ferrari Shield.. I'm sure the money saved could go into some juicier option parts.
I’m I correct in thinking that a very highly spec is worth more at resale? I know that isn’t what you plan but just curious. I mean if you put 60k in carbon etc it’s worth 80k (roughly) more in time. Also go for it spec as Speciale.
Is there any way for a normal peasant to get that configurator or is that only for dealerships? the one they have on their website is so boring compared to that one you were using
Matching the 458 is a pretty cool idea, going onto the comments about people buying and not driving them, it's such a shame, I know as of recent times it's tempting to do it as an investment because that's just how it will go with these cars, but if you're in a position in life to buy a car like these does it really matter to do it as an investment because whoever it may be is obviously quite well off anyway. It's why I respect people like yourself, Shmee, Paul etc etc as you get them to drive and use well and entertain us. Everytime you put a video up James of you getting a new car I always think "dam I can't wait for him to drive the hell out of this" haha
i would go Rosso Fuoco, since you will end up paying the same amount on a metallic paint why not choose another red, keep every Ferrari unique to its own spec.
Im a fanboy of Ferrari and for channel JWW.... It looks dope in Rosso Fiorano..... think matching you're Ferrari's is a cool idea just add one thing that makes it unique as a finishing touch! love your channel man!
I've actually talked to my dealer about this same issue, there's a guy here that bought a LaF just so he can get a LaF aperta... never touched the LaF and just sold it as soon as he got the aperta. There's a huge stigma for putting miles on special cars in general and I hope it changes! I for one will be putting a lot of miles on my 458
I like the 812/f12 in a dark grey with a good bit of metalic chip (but nothing over the top) with a nice tan/medium brown leather interior, and dark space grey wheels.
Without any doubt you have to match the two cars. Side by side they will look awesome! As for the other question, I can totally get why people buy for investment, but they are things of beauty! Drive them and share them in all their glory for everyone to admire. Great vid as always James!
Cars are made for driving. That's all there is to it. And I honestly would probably spec my cars in the same color, especially your color, it's stunning.
Remember when you visit Joe Macari's dealership looking for the f12 tdf..... well.... at least for me that's a lovely spec. And even you must consider a left hand drive car spec, because as you said many times you made a lot of miles in continental Europe. That spec of that tdf i believe that it would match perfect with this type of car... a GT car. As always James, Your content its best in class... keep it up.
For the 812 I would go with a darker colour, like a shade of blue (TDF blue??), so you have your Speciale as a showstopper and the 812 more as a 'discrete' super-GT 😎
- Rosso Fiorano - Matt Black Forg. racing wheel - Nero/Charcoal (daytona) alcantara interior + Filo speciale Bordeaux stitching, carpets, horse - Lots of carbon in and out! - Scuderia shields - Titanium sports pipes!
It doesn't really matter how you spec the car, we love your content and enthusiasm in your videos, on a side note will you be uploading any videos soon living with the new Aston Martin Vantage James?
I agree, match the specialé, its an amazing colour, it suits the 812 shape perfectly. I like the look of the hand painted shields, I’m guessing you are into 5 figures for that doing though?
It could be but we need more sunshine here to make the most of the paint...that being said on the rare occasion the sky is primed it makes the revelation of the paint all the more enjoyable!
having two matching Ferraris should be absolutely amazing, I honestly don't see why it would be weird or distasteful. Besides, you have great taste when it comes to speccing cars, I just think you should follow your gut here... The one on the screen though looked TASTY!
Great video as per usual James. I believe that Porsche have started something similar to stop car flippers and the "ornament" owners buying just to get the Invites for the "special" cars... oh to even be in the world of having to care and worry about these things ;)
Brilliant again 👍👍👍👍👍 I still have the first 3 issues of maxpower god I feel old 🤪 cossy amazing , good to see some different sunglasses 😎. Gold wheels 🙈🙈🙈 next you’ll be spec ing 3 spokes 😬😬😬. Excellent video yet again
Cheers!
Pleasure as always thanks dude!
Agreed-the color is excellent. However, just imagine your first Speciale sitting in your garage with a matching 812 sitting beside it. With that in mind, was surrendering it on request the right decision, and would you do it again? I thought for sure they’d comp you with a Pista build slot…
Even after all this time, I’m still convinced your first Speciale had the perfect spec…
I would get a car through the break in period and then get on it. But I don’t think it’s bad to buy and collect and keep it in your collection. You wouldn’t want to waste the miles because it would be so easy to run it up to 30k, 70k miles and that might kill it
There is already a 812 superfast forsale on autotrader for 100,000 pounds profit. Ferrari & porsche are a great brand to flip cars.
4:50 nailed the waste gate noise
😂👍🏻
O figure, who cares if he mentions the wrong vent, but I knew there'd be someone to correct it.
smminco because every damn time a youtuber drives a turbo car they comment on the "wastegate" sound. They are car guys, they can be corrected.
I actually think the 812 would look amazing in a dark deep blue / purple or in some shades of metallic grey.
Dont get me wrong, the color on your Speciale is mind-blowing but there's no point having both cars look the same.
Adam Stefano agree
Adam Stefano Look at jcartu on instagram. That‘s by far the coolest color for the 812 SF
TDFXX I looked up Jcartu, and oh my that color looks amazing especially at night time
812 in TDF Blue with bright Siver TDF wheels for mine. Silver brake calipers. Scuderia hand paint shield. Less Cliche. More Class. Love your videos JWW. Always bring a smile to the face.

Can we please give credit to Mr JWW for the great content.
Thanks so much 🙏🏻
I think you HAVE to match it. It’s such a rare and beautiful color. DO IT
Remembering cars like the cosworth when you were growing up and now you own a speciale and have an 812 and a gt3 on order. Well done sir 👍🏻
Thanks bro
I don't usually comment, but since I'm so early I just wanted to say that I personally love your edits James.
Great quality videos, especially with the music. Found some great tunes thanks to your videos.
Take care, Tony.
James mate, pleaseee match the 812 to your speciale. The red you have is really nice!
You really should do a video series like this - A day with (x) car. That + your production quality is some ace content
Hey James, Don't usually respond to your vids but love to watch your content. From my point of view I would say *Don't* go for a 812 with the same specs as your 458, Find a spec that matches with your car nicely but not the same one! There is no point sinking all that money into a lovely car and not bother to drive it. Super cars are made to be driven 😀
Salomondrin right now: "??? is it true??"
Agreed
James once again you have done it great video! it is just awesome that you take us on these adventures. but for your question i really think people should drive the cars because they where designed for it. but if people just totally love them and want to collect them. that is also fine with me because at the end of the day it is their money. btw a awesome spec for a 812 is the colour Verde British with black rims, gold brake calipers and a matching interior!

TDF Blue / TDF Wheels / Tan interior... See you in Monaco this week mate ??
Le Billet Auto (LBA TV) dream spec but grey color is good too.
Your tunes are always absolutely bang on! Very much enjoyed this simple 'vlog' video back in the UK :)
Thanks - it was refreshing to make : )
I always love seeing these higher end cars being driven (given I don't see them often in person) but I love seeing them being driven (thanks Instagram haha). Big respect to you and how many miles you put on these beautiful machines!
the combination that you did in the video its completely perfect!!! awesome, really awesome James
Great video James, a matching set would look awesome. Next time you are passing through Congleton let me know and I'll shout you a coffee and muffin!
Thanks dude!
Omg I used to live on the same road as that Ferrari dealer in handforth and the guy that took you round kicked my friend and I out for looking at cars for too long, overall quality content as usual James thank you very much

Great to see you show some love for the Cosworth, growing up my dad has had a few of them including an immaculate N reg small turbo one which is his pride and joy.
match it however change the interior to something a little more GT than racecar
I love your spec videos James! Gives us a great opportunity to see what’s behind the ordering process. Keep up the great work 😎❤️
Good to see you paying attention to the classics of yesteryear unlike certain other supercar vloggers! That EsCos was something else
James, it's comforting to hear people talk about driving their special cars and not being to let it get rained on, get dirty, wash it, etc. Come what may! It's all part of the car's story. saw your rs6 at manchester airport a few days ago looks so good in person!! the interior just pops!!!
What about having the exterior matched to your current Speciale and the interior like in your first Speciale with the yellow stripes on the seats?
Love the Cossie blast from the past and back to max power. Thanks for that 😀
I’m guilty for doing that at Starbucks too mate 🤣 Was great to see the old cossy, looked mint!
Well this was a great video. Big thumbs up for taking the time to include a section about that Lovely escort rs cosworth. Really enjoyed that quick insight. Hope to spot your 812 when you take delivery it will look sensational in that colour 👍👍👍
As always Mr jww brilliant video and a unique view into the world of supercar ownership.
I think matching would be an amazing idea!! They would look amazing together!
Appreciating the Cossie love James... amazing motors
Matching pair would be amazing! It could possibly tempt you to keep them for longer than expected as well!
What a day and driving that amazing car 😊
Highly appreciate these personal "daily" videos. Thanks mate! Your Speciale colour is awesome, agree! However the 812 is a fast stylish GT = Blu Swaters (to match your jacket and shoes :-) with yellow calipers and hand painted yellow shield. Interior in Tortora Alcantara, Daytona racing seats. Absolutely looove the speccing videos👍👍
Excellent editing done in this video.
I think it is a great idea to match your cars. I always envy those matching Laf's and Speciales etc.
Definitely have the same colour as your 458👌 garage goals!
James I totally agree you should match the colours of both your Ferrari in the same colour as it will look top spec when sit together in your excellent photo shots for your new web site.
What a winner you are! Keep up the good work
4:51 Love that sound ❤️
James , can't wait for the 812 , bring it on
Nice colour but maybe try something a bit special, like a blue colour, but either way Loved the video James, Thank you for showing me that dreams can come true if you work hard enough!
Excellent vlog as ever bud! - However this provided no influence! - but was Positively Aspirational! 😉😉😉😂
Ha ha yes mate! 😂👍🏻
Love the royal oak James! also congrats you are living my dream my favorite car is the 458 speciale and I absolutely ADORE your 812 spec cheer mate :)
Matching the 812 to the Specialé would be the best thing ever. That combi, driving it everywhere, lovely!
Brilliant video !!!! Here's my views on things :
A) I have a love for the Speciale that words can't describe !
B) These cars are designed to be driven and enjoyed !!!! Enzo would turn in his grave at these garage queens !!!!
C) Matching the 812 would work as the spec is a great one , personally I'd go Blue Swaters , black TDF wheels :)
D) Joe Macari is selling a Rosso Fuoco TDF - James !!!!
James HELL YEA you should match the 812 to the Speciale!! Your 458 is probably my favorite Spec there is, so the 812 will just look so sick side by side!!
I always enjoy the videos where you're just chilling in England getting the car washed and visiting dealerships
Sweet, we can make more of these!
Great video . Great video seeing that ford escort cosworth is a dream being that clean and low miles. That car bring lot of money over on auction
Such a great video as always!
Can someone explain 8:20 - 9:05 when the dealer was talking about what clients do to get the special cars?
I’m I correct in thinking that a very highly spec is worth more at resale? I know that isn’t what you plan but just curious. I mean if you put 60k in carbon etc it’s worth 80k (roughly) more in time.
Also go for it spec as Speciale.
Wining at life bud, Another great vid A+
Is there any way for a normal peasant to get that configurator or is that only for dealerships? the one they have on their website is so boring compared to that one you were using
Matching the 458 is a pretty cool idea, going onto the comments about people buying and not driving them, it's such a shame, I know as of recent times it's tempting to do it as an investment because that's just how it will go with these cars, but if you're in a position in life to buy a car like these does it really matter to do it as an investment because whoever it may be is obviously quite well off anyway. Brazil here. I love your videos 🇧🇷🚘
Wow thanks for taking the time to show the esxos. Most super car owners just snub the more normal cars. 👍
Fantastic spec James
Cars are made for driving. That's all there is to it.
And I honestly would probably spec my cars in the same color, especially your color, it's stunning.
When you could tell the Cossy was a big turbo model by the lack of airbag. God I need to get out more!
That yellow one nice size scoop thank you.
Honestly the gold wheels would look stunning.
DK_7575 I was thinking the same thing.
- Rosso Fiorano
- Matt Black Forg. racing wheel
- Nero/Charcoal (daytona) alcantara interior
+ Filo speciale Bordeaux stitching, carpets, horse
- Lots of carbon in and out!
- Scuderia shields
- Titanium sports pipes!
Question: Who films these videos? Love your channel btw - never miss a video.
It's beautiful. Now imagine they made a tdf version of the super fast just like they did with the f12
Could you do an update on what you have in your fleet?
I would color match the side skirts and the front lip spoilers to give it a more hunkered down look.
It doesn't really matter how you spec the car, we love your content and enthusiasm in your videos, on a side note will you be uploading any videos soon living with the new Aston Martin Vantage James?
Holy sh.t that Giallo Speciale Aperta is perfect!!! Giallo and no stripe is looking so good :) you should choose a dark blue for the 812... ;)
Love too see more content about cars like the cosworth
Cool idea of matching it to the speciale. But what about the pista or do you just want a V12
J. MrJWW. Mega video. Brilliant mate.
James you’ve nailed it! My only suggestion is to stick with silver wheels. Looks so classy against the incredible Fiorano paint.
Hi James, could you do a video about what you did before becoming a fulltime youtuber? Would be really interesting to see how you got here!
I agree, match the specialé, its an amazing colour, it suits the 812 shape perfectly. I like the look of the hand painted shields, I’m guessing you are into 5 figures for that doing though?
P.S. The first two UK 812 demonstrators for Lovett and HR Owen which went to Topaz for PPF treatment (see video)were blu TDF with beige trad........
I think matching the colour is a great idea. The colour on the 458 is amazing. I also agree that cars should be driven!
It could be but we need more sunshine here to make the most of the paint...that being said on the rare occasion the sky is primed it makes the revelation of the paint all the more enjoyable!
Mr JWW you're very right. You're just going to have to fly it somewhere like you did with the Speciale😉
having two matching Ferraris should be absolutely amazing, I honestly don't see why it would be weird or distasteful. Besides, you have great taste when it comes to speccing cars, I just think you should follow your gut here... The one on the screen though looked TASTY!
WoW I love that spec so much!😍😍🔥
Great video as per usual James.
No, midnight blue would be really amazing or grey with yellow caliper.
Or match it with ur old grey specialie
Love the bit where you said about 'ours' and with that in mind, when can i have a go in 'our' car :-)
