Phase 1 has the most changes, but the greatest features are the new textures, new enemy sprites and sounds, new weapon sprites, and new maps, one of them being MAP07 finally being replaced, taking away Freedoom's greatest Difficulty Peak I just love Freedoom, it's a great alternative to Doom and now it has a better accessibility, the keys and skull keys are now *colorblind friendly*, which makes it a little better than Doom IMO 🤩 Oh, the Minigun Zombie now has new sprites which not only makes it look cook, it also fixes the problem of being mistaken by a player on 0.12 and 0.12.1 Oh yeah, On 0.13 now it's now it's clearer who you're facing, if in Doom you face *Demons* ,in Freedoom, you face *Aliens*
@@johnangelotenorio I mean, i can understand, but i think it's a little more "original". When did you heard about a double-barrel shotgun that it's loaded from beneath the barrels instead of INSIDE the barrels?
Thanks for posting this. This is what I reference for secrets I can't find because almost none of the maps are documented on the Doom wiki. Appreciate that it's in 4K as well. Map 11 is busting my balls. Even when you know the map well, some fights / areas are still really hard.
You're welcome! I've been trying to put a lot of effort in the longest video on my channel =D People are not so keen on documenting Freedoom maps because a new version, like 0.14.0, may obsolete some articles (either partially or completely)
@@Dimon12321 That makes sense, considering some maps get replaced entirely. My Linux distro packages the git version, not the standard release. So I'm essentially playing 0.14 already, as it stands.
@@Dimon12321 Man, I made it to map 32 ("Not Sure") and I don't have enough ammo. I have to go all the way back to map 15 and conserve more ammo & rely on in-fighting more. :/ (I was stuck on map 11 for like two weeks.)
Who made OG MAP09 and MAP13? Mine complex with flooded sector and big factory with conveyors. Also, same question about OG "Courtyard" and "Citadtel" (where in one revision end of one map were in the beginning of another).

Эпизод 4 (Double Impact) делался разработчиками Freedoom, как самостоятельный проект. Его просто потом включили в первую фазу. В нем ничего не изменилось с момента его релиза в 2011, поэтому проходить его особо смысла не вижу

Freedoom is awesome. It helped me learn how to mod and play other wads for free. It will always have a special place in my black heart. 🤘🏼🤘🏼

@@TatraTyp103 в старых версиях до 11 версии там не все уровни есть (вместо них там маленькая комната-квадрат с выходом)
