I love watching Matthias Schoenerts in any film he makes. He has a very strong, seductive presence on the screen, and it makes me want to see more of him on film. He speaks several languages, and is a very versatile actor. He can portray a tender character (Far from the madding crowd) to a menacing ex-boyfriend (The Drop). I think “Blood Brothers” deserved an Honorable Mention. In my opinion, he’s a brilliant actor!
His acting perf in the recent The Regime tv series with Kate Winslet could rival his Rust and Bone and Bullhead breakout films, both of which I love. Even now at 46 he still makes a very valid romantic male lead. I look forward to see his upcoming The Way of the Wind by Terrence Malick and The Old Guard 2. Luv this actor ❤

He is reunited with his CHAOS star Kate Winslet for a fanciful dramedy series that brings out unexpected reserves that only the greatest stars can pull off. I had almost forgotten about him and how terrific he can be until this weirdly wonderful series .
Matt's performance in The Regime, I believe, is his career best. And that's quite an achievement, defying some predictions that he would not be able to top his 'Rust and Bone' and 'Bullhead' roles. Well done indeed, my prince 🥰
I'm agree definitely with Rust and Bones. My first film with him and I was soo fascinated. I loved the way he loved. Unconventionally, honest, rough and very deep. Both actors played superb. Probably forever one of my favorite movies ❤
