- Dash cam tour of Howard Beach and South Ozone Park Queens. Visiting mob landmarks like the home of the Gambino boss John Gotti, the home of Ronald Giallanzo (Ronnie G), and the infamous Bergin Hunt and Fish Club a Gambino crew Headquarters. We also had to make an honorary stop at new park pizza of course. I also give a brief rundown of the drug arrest of John Gotti’s Grandson John Gotti.

On the way to the Bergen Hunt Club as you drove on Cross Bay you passed over Rockaway Blvd a notable street if you know Ozone Park another local town where lots of mob people lived and grew up in. I’m originally from the area many years ago. The Italians from Ozone Park and Howard Beach are a separate breed and nobody in their right mind ever messed with them. I remember hearing some Hispanic gangs warning each other about some of the people from Ozone Park and Howard Beach. Anyway, just though I’d add some more facts about the area. There also was a Race Track there which is now a casino and the infamous John Adams high school and one of the original White Castle’s. Great upload, keep ‘m coming!
Yes indeed! White Castle's moved from one spot down the block to where it is now next to the Americana Bowling Alley. All kids growing up in those neighborhoods knew those landmarks. S.J. Romanelli Funeral home on Rockaway Blvd closer to Linden Blvd was a hotspot. There was another funeral home on Lefferts Blvd and 101 avenue that allegedly was a mob hotspot. On 130st and Rockaway was Ozone Park lumber that had a famous fire....years ago. wild times!!!
ye the originality was the beginning of i knew anything about it if of done things different I'm not an educated man and mentally not all there so I learned from the venture but i have to stay the course for what I originated so my journey is over and I bought my sidearm grazie
" nobody in their right mind ever messed with them..." yes indeed. Lots of folks you just dont aggravate. Not limited to italians by any means.
@@eweknowkimchee4384 love the name here lol. salute for bravery over education. sometimes we all need a wiseguy not a book guy. cheers sir, for experience!
Why is John Adams school infamous?
as a huge follower of anything mafia, i appreciate seeing these thru ur eyes otherwise we’d never be able to see them. thank you
That’s what I’m try to do I’m happy it seems to be working
If your such a big mob fan than go out and start a racket until you have your first rico case. Don't sit home on your computer and pretend...
@@ssherrierable shut up stupid!
Agreed. Love from the uk
"A huge follower of anything Mafia"..
What you dont know..is alot my friend.
I grew up in Ozone Park, right around the corner from the Bergen Hunt & Fish Club. Still fondly remember the Gate of Heaven feasts & July 4th celebrations on 101st Ave. They had more fireworks than Macy's. Ask anyone that lived there at the time, it was a better neighborhood when John was there.
i grew up in south ozone park may 20 blocks south of 101ave but went to 1 or 2 4th of july partys at gate of heaven great fun
He was a terrorist and murderer how does that make a neighbourhood great? He put on a couple of parties and that made him a hero? 😂😂 what a Facking JOKE!!! Wow some people’s expectations for life are rock bottom! 😂😂😂
I can see how lying cheating thieving murdering scum can make a neighborhood better.
Interesting. It gives us non-New Yorkers a feel for the neighborhoods where the Mafia thrived for so long. Not what you expect from the movies and TV/Internet.
-Ralph Macchio Voice Over!! 🤣💪 lol I had to! Good stuff buddy! Morris Park, Bronx Here! 💯
Seriously...I've been thinking the same thing. The Karate Kid is telling me the story
I said Karate kid about three days ago on one of his vids.....coat tails much!?!
@@mickteasdale3225 first video I've watched was this one. Sorry for the intrusion
I was thinking the same thing, glad someone else noticed
@@rodellis2836 i said the same thing
I like the way you drive dude, nice and calm, no use getting all hot headed.
I am a mob enthusiast and I absolutely love your videos❤❤❤
My father grew up in South Ozone Park and recalled the "Rockaway Boys" which was basically a recruiting gang for the Gambino crime family. It's interesting that Gotti chose Carlo's style of being low-profile with his home, but then he got big-headed and became high-profile. Big mistake. Now he's remembered as a part of 1980's infamous pop-culture.
Yes I’ve heard of the Rockaway boys I’ll add them to the list
Love your videos; very interesting stuff. Keep up the good work!
Wonderful video! Love your commentary. It might be interesting to do a trip through Manhattan and include Sparks, Umberto’s Clam House and the Ravenite.
My friend grew up on his block, He said that John Gotti was a cool guy to him ,He would do small errands for him from time to time , Nothing illegal though . He didn't like John Jr though ,He was too much of a super tough guy .
@We Don't Have Supreme Love for Negations Who….cAres; &??🥸🥸
Great video MDC, learned a lot from your tour that I otherwise would never know! Thx
I love these so much!!! More please!!!!
Thanks for this upload this is exactly what I been waiting for thanks bro and stay safe
It’s quite surreal really that the route your driving , Gotti and some of his henchmen would have driven the same routes on there way to conduct business or meetings, great video Mooney , thanks for sharing 🙌👍
Crazy right
@We Don't Have Supreme Love for Negations so sorry that certain things still irritate you brother , if you ever need a hug , hit me up 😘
Another fantastically well put together video.. I love the insight into their lives that you give...
I will definitely watch gangster movies in a different light knowing a little bit more of their backstory, where they grew up and knowing where they lived... I just went on Gotti's daily drive to work..... brilliant .. thank you
Thanks for the follow-up with that tour of Howard Beach! Appreciated that.
Great video,I'm very happy I came across your channel 👍
New sub. Love ur channel. Thank you . Love ur commentary and locations. Great job!
Thanks Aaron!
Great channel, Mooney keep up the good work!
Enjoy your videos. New subscriber. Also The Orange Road Runner at 3:05 is sweet. Love old muscle cars.PEACE
I didn’t even catch that while I was filming
Great vid. Very interesting. I've read a lot about John Gotti, Howard Beach and Ozone Park..
It is great to be able to see the actual places you've read as o much above.
Great channel.
Kind regards
DJ from the UK
I remember back when Gotti in the '90's trials, one of the witnesses in court wouldn't testify against him & the headlines in the NY newspapers was "I Forgotti." LOL.
That was the case of roman pichzeck forgive me for the spelling on the last name lol.
FACTS
@ 7:00 correction - you accidentally said "while he was boss he made 500 million". I think you mean 5 million and not 500 million. But still awesome video and awesome channel. Thank you for bringing these videos to us.
I'm from West coast I appreciate these videos I always pictured New York as a place you can't even see down the street cause of sky scrapers . But now watching these videos I understand it's just like California you can drive for hours and just go from neighborhood to neighborhood.
Yeah pretty much only Manhattan is like that but it’s pretty much like every other big city otherwise
New York is Huge ! It’s just the island and close surrounding areas that is dense area
NYC has 5 boros. The "NY" that most of the tourists identify with through movies and mass media is mostly Manhattan. There is a whole other world of NYC that exists within the other 4 boros and it has nothing to do with Manhattan and the skyscrapers.
Loving the videos Dude...keep up the great work...really interesting and informative
Sorry to say, reading from Wikipedia and its inaccuracies does not represent informative.
Thanks Mooney for the Ride and View of New York ...It Pays to do your Home Work that Puts out good Work...
Thanks Kenneth
Great videos. They give a better understanding to the stories. Have you thought about doing anything on the Westies?
That would be cool. James Coonan & fam relocated to a town in NJ near me.
Been waiting on this one bro. Good job!
Great video as always. And New Park, best pizza in Queens.
I love these videos ,, thanks for doing them 💜💜
Yo moon!!! Great video.
I really like what you're doing keep it up bro
Thank you
Love this channel you got here mate thanks for these uploads I'm from England but had a fascination with the mafia since watching goodfellas in my early teens. Keep up the good work 👏
No problem man I’ll keep posting as long as people keep enjoying them
Thanks for actually making the vid lol 👍👍
Excellent dash cam on Gotti. Thanks, Mooney!
MDC, Super work...love the vids on the mafia ..you make it feel real ...
Thank you
Yoo Mooney! Tight vid bro, Juniors club was the Our Friends located at 97-46 99th St. Ozone park.
Perfect so I was in the right spot
Arc Plumbing where Mr.Gotti "sold plumbing supplies" was right around the corner too... 97-12 101st St.
And further down was Stacks Edwards apt he got whacked in 109-16 120th St. South Ozone Pk. 👊🏼
Good video. Enjoyed it! Enjoy all of them. Thanks
Love these videos man cuz ima big mafia history nut .. I’m from Baltimore and visited New York once in my life and I tried to go see some iconic mafia locations and houses but by the time I found my way from my hotel next to MetLife stadium to a subway and then to staten island and other places the weekend was over and it was time to leave I came to New York and the only thing I did was get a famous $1 slice of 🍕 👍🏽 😂
Lol seems like you packed your trip full
I'm becoming a huge fan of this channel... I'd love to see the interior of the old Gemini Lounge and Draculas old apartment which is now some church...
Very cool. Thank u. And yes I’d like to see the other video u mentioned earlier. Some old time gangsters would be cool too!! Great job Mooney!
Cover that Mikey griffith stuff. Good video so far. Keep it coming bro!!
New subscriber here, thanks for all the awesome videos, very well done and enjoy them a lot, thank you for the information, you explain things so clearly 😃👍👍 one question though, I wonder if the Gotti family still lives in that house or did they sell and move to get away from the publicity and looky lous of the house?
The funny thing is, most current residents of this area (Where the social club was), have never heard of the Gambino crime family or any of its members.
Very true
Lol, yeah and you believe that
Great videos , love seeing the homes and clubs of the mafia , these places are places I’ll never get to see in person so thank you for bringing them to us
Hey Mooney I be in Queens on the 23 of December going over for the holidays how can I get the most mob experience aka maps or whatever what's your suggestion
Just a few google searches of queens mom incidents should get you a nice list of spots to check out
@@MOONEYDashCam I tried that last year when I went for Christmas but I didn't get to go to Queens but this year I am more prepared thanks bru
Love looking at old neighborhood love your videos keep it up
I totally enjoy your videos, they remind me of taking a tour of old Hollywood only more interesting. Seeing the simple houses and hangouts those guys owned when they had so much money is something. It’s the opposite of Wall Streeters who seem to often have houses that are much bigger than their bank accounts.
Seeing a video of the places some of the Wall Street robber Barrons lived in would be interesting.
I’ll look into the wall st guys soon. Thanks for watching!
Dan Roger's,. isn't it amazing how the wise guys lived in the modest homes 🏠💸💸💸💸 and the wall St theives live in castles. Thanks for sharing
We grew up on 108st off 101st ave. We were there when Guliani shut down Gotti's annual fireworks show. The neighborhood was PISSED!
That Modell's on Rockaway Blvd and Crossbay Blvd used to be UA Crossbay Movie Theater. The exterior was filmed for the King of Queens tv show.
At that time I lived in Rockaway. Taking the A train, Howard Beach was a stop I would never get off at. I knew he lived in that neighborhood. I did not want any trouble of any kind.
Just subscribed love the content. Keep up the good work/ driving hahah
I would like for you too cover the Michael Griffith incident.
I'm with u that was an incredibly brutal story at the time
Love it 👍 You just get better and better Mooney.
I love gangster anything, love these videos, thank you so much
13:00 I thought you were gonna bust that red light 🚦lol
HUGE THUMBS UP. FROM THE U.K.
Hi man.. Did you already make a video about Richard kulinsky? If not.. Will be interesting..
Yes once I go over the bridge to Jersey I’ll record that
Love these videos, really interesting! Shout out from Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺
Love the support!!
Nicely done...Enjoyed your video
Truly enjoy your mob tours dash-cam drives around New York City. Great driving and great tours with me feeling just right in the passenger seat as I listen to your talks. And these mob stories are very accurate too. Learn more from here in addition to my other readings about the New York Mafia.
Great video as always. But how about how about some videos on things that happened in New Jersey
Sounds like you're driving my '05 trailblazer with a bad transmission. Lol nice vid tho
02 ford transmission is holding up thank god 😂
Thanks for sharing absolutely enthralling 👍💪
Aniello Delacroce literally translates to: "Little Lamb Of the Cross" but he was far from "holy" we all heard the story of how his eyes were so blue it was like they looked right through you like in the movie "Children of the Damned"
" I'm like Paulie from Goodfellas, you can call me the Don"
Another great video. Bravo sir...did you get the exhaust fixed!?!
Yes its all fixed up
That second house you showed ...wow nice!! Great job 👏
Love the video and it reminded me of my hatred of tacky McMansions, lol.
I'm sure that was the safest neighbor hood in NYC. That Neil Dellacroce was one mean evil looking hombre.
Mooney great work, I see that you are still riding that lawnmower
I think that bathroom you were talking about was at the Ravenite Social Club in Manhattan. Mulberry st
I think you’re right
17:24 Aldos pizza. 137-01 Cross Bay Blvd, Ozone Park. The crew stopped in there every day when they were filming Goodfellas. there’s photos on the walls of the entire cast.
Nice video, history and the whole area around the main sites shown
Thanks 👍
These videos are great!
Nice 👍 area 👌
Great video 📸
Greetings from Brooklyn NY 🌇🐾🍎
👍🤘
Thanks for replying bro 👍
Greenpoint Brooklyn here.
Love your channel great job 👍
Mooney, thank your for the videos. U put a lot of work into them! However, I'm starting to get concerned. I don't want somebody posting a dash cam video, "OK, this is supposedly where Mooney went missing last week." Be careful and God's speed
Hahaha I appreciate the concern but they’ll never catch me
Wow, the memories. My uncle owned the Coffeeshop/Diner directly across the street back around 1991+. Funny it's still a Cafe/Restaurant.
That is
So cool
the marsh back by Gotti’s house in Howard Beach always made me wonder, how many bodies are still out there?
🤜🏽🤛🏽 kinda like these bodies in barrels lately that keep being found in a lake in Las Vegas that they think is linked to mafia from the 70s and 80s
Really enjoy your videos
Informative, interesting and on point, "we gotta coupla stops to go ...WIND THE WINDOW UP, I'M CATCHING A BREEZE!"...
Thanks dude 👍
Very interesting!! Love the ride you took us down the street !! And your cute as a button.. be careful out there. you were right about where the pizza place was with the green awning I read several books and that was the place !
You passed by the large and beautiful house of an old friend of mine from the 1970s! He was an organist for a garage band I was in at the time. I think he still might live there. He had inherited ownership of the house and family business after his father died sometime later. Have seen him just once in all of these years. My family lived in a much less prominent section of Queens at the time. Went inside his house only once. All I can remember about it is that it was incredible. Grand piano and huge chandeliers. The section we lived in was near to where the Goodfellas crew hung out. Both they and he (Gotti) were murderous POS (plural), Definitely not people to be admired.
Good stuff!
You driving at 65 mph but other drivers pass you as if you are crawling.
I enjoyed this video and yes please do the Michael Griffith video! I remember that vividly!
I would love to come there and see those places live
Damm am from the UK an English and looking at this neighbourhood, maybe its just me, but, there is still an unusual energy that comes from watching this video.. i dunno, feels like a presense of something, is still there...but, loving the mafia video's...
Awesome video
I grew up with this...you make it so real I thank you
Thank you!
I love your vids! Great job! Note; it's Fat-tic-o. Accent on first syllable.
I always have to pic between saying like I’m an off the boat Italian or like I don’t know better hahaha
@@MOONEYDashCam No worries. You're cool, Dude.
I see got a new vehicle lol love yoooo videos
Love your videos....could you do anything related to John Favara, Gotti's unfortunate neighbour (eg. house, maybe where he was kidnapped from, if possible.
Apparently, John Carneglia, released a few years ago, also lives in Howard Beach.
Perhaps you could knock and ask?
What could go wrong?
What kind of dash cam do you use
Back then I was using a Rexing v2 but now I use a GoPro
22:31 My Grandparents lived in Richmond Hill about a half mile away from there right on the other side of Atlantic Ave. I'd spend a week or two every summer there when I was a kid we'd walk all over Ozone Park and my Grandma would take me on J or A train to the city to go to Central Park or to Yankees games or the Museums. Best times of my life. My Grandma was a tough old German woman, back in the 80's she was walking along 101st Ave once with her pull cart and one of Gotti's guys had parked in front of the Bergin Fish Club in a Cadillac on the sidewalk blocking it and she hollered at the guy to move the car and they were laughing and John came outside the club and yelled at them to move the car for her so she could pass and not have to go into the gutter. They stopped laughing and jumped up and moved the car right away and John smiled and waved her along and apologized to her. I remember when she told my Uncle the story of what happened he said she was crazy and was gonna end up in a ditch somewhere. My Grandma's neighbor was a barber who used to cut my hair for free (cause my Grandfather helped him out fixing some plumbing or something years and years ago) and he would also cut John Gotti's hair.
Billy, great story...
This video is 🔥🔥🔥👍
Thank you very much
Like the video man have you done one casso jr
I love it. I'm not from Queens, but I'm from Brooklyn. My exit is Pennsylvania Avenue on the Belt Pkwy and I remember driving thru this area dozens and dozens of times both as a kid and as a grown up.
Hi, good vid, and yes, a vid on the Michael Griffith murder would be good...
