I think it is really interesting to see more of the production side of music. The energy that goes into producing what we love to listen to is astounding. Michael has a passion for this it sounds like he is advancing the art of music production. I hope that there is enough value in the ways we “acquire” music to listen to theses days that artists and producers can afford to keep doing this work.
We see a lot of the work that goes into the listening side of music. Some of it feels like a lot like a sales pitch. I really enjoyed the interviews from RMAF. They gave more insight into what that part of the industry is doing. I worry a lot about the corporate buyouts and mergers going on in the industry and it is good to see what some of the independents are doing.
