Acid tire cleaner is for tires only, just use vinegar fam. Great for the coffee machine and does great for this same purpose. Professional detailers that care won't use tire cleaner on windows and most of us use DI water to avoid the spots

All water spot removers on the market are acid based and vinager is very acidic as well. Aiden is using diluted hidrolcoric acid which has a bit more kick than vinager for the tougher to remove spots, in the method he show's it is 100% safe and effective!
In this demonstration Aiden is showing how to remove caked on water spots that are already present on a vehicle, but yes DI water is a great way to prevent leaving water spots when washing a vehicle.
