man .... i miss FFXI so much. haven't play this game like over 10 years, really want to play it again someday. it was really something to kill Kirin, it took a lot of effort to collect the summon items and require many people (4 parties) to kill Kirin -- the final boss of sky. but back then our gear sucks, there was no trust NPC, and lv limit was only 75. to my understanding, the present lv limit has pushed up to 99. i thought in nowadays people can solo kirin. but after this video, i think it is still a challege.

My 4 favorite classes were Redmage, Bard, Warrior & Thief in that order.
Does your endgame Linkshell run Zerg runs at all ?
For the record I remember everything and how to level up and what each bosses do for each fight. So perhaps if you guys are all playing still. I could join you guys. I really am tempted to get back into this game.
When I was playing the game. Osode=20million
KClub=200-600million
Bard Manteel+1=120million
Strider boots= 5-15milion
Byakko’s Haidate=5-20million
I may be off on some of those.
Also if you can’t obtain strider boots. Skadi Boots was what I aimed for Skadi boots from the blue mage/Corsair/puppet master content
I've seen striders listed for 9-15mil in Horizon so it may be a similar economy. I am absolutely loving it.
Skadi won’t be out until ToAU sadly, gonna keep working at them striders
