Hello Nick and Elenya, I hope this message finds you well. I must say, your 4x4 rig is nothing short of spectacular! My wife and I are deeply impressed with every intricate detail of your build. It stands out not only for its functionality but also for its aesthetics. As publicans we have put our Hotel for sale and are preparing to retire and journey across Australia ourselves, we've recently invested in a 79 series ourselves but realize now that even this rig is probably not big enough. Our ultimate goal is to traverse the vast landscapes of our beautiful country, especially as I'm an avid fishing enthusiast, much like yourself. With the aspiration to venture into crocodile territories, I realize that I'd need a larger boat. In fact, I've been so inspired by both your Truck Aswell as boat's design that I'm considering something similar if not exactly the same. Would it be possible for you to share the blueprint of your rig? It would be invaluable for individuals like me who appreciate such builds and wish to integrate some of your ideas. Maybe even consider featuring it on your channel, but as a printable PFD if possible, please as I believe many would benefit from understanding its structure and design. Lastly, for our travel planning purposes, could you provide some details on the weight of your truck on its own empty and also weight fully fueled up food everything including, boat, and the caravan you tow? Such information would immensely help us in ensuring we make informed decisions for our own setup. Thank you for your time and for the constant inspiration. Cheers to many more adventures! Warm regards, Marty and Leigh
Hey first off thanks for watching we really appreciate it !! We love the truck and have all the blue prints in a little book that we designed it in and are looking at getting them drawn up. And we will have some eps out on weights etc for you soon! You can pm if you want any further details 🤙🤠
The truck is looking awesome. The only thing I would add is to the boat, being a brace from the bottom of the outboard leg to the bottom of the V of the trailer. I think without it you could suffer some transom damage from the motor shaking about especially on rough roads. Easy job for Nick. Keep on Truckin.
This is absolutely the best idea for travelling Oz. I've seen other tubers with Rams etc, but in reality this far surpasses them for practicality at half the cost. Well done to you both... Very smart 👌👍
Guys, absolute beast, werrr in WA, and once we seen this we started to look here, be great if you could make a build pdf, no costs cause thats personal and all states change costings, cant wait to see this bush bashing, and a simpson run. ✊✊
Awesome walk around and now I know why you wont air down because it will take for ever to air up with the compressor you have. You need a Oassis 24V Compressor not cheap but you will look forward in airing up the tyres. Cheers Johnny&Rene
I agree with you there, either that option or Endless Air, which is essentially the same thing but running from a belt drive in the engine compartment, and they do a kit for the NPS, although this is the latest model of NPS so it may be slightly different. I'm currently running a 24V ARB twin unit on my NPS and if/when that dies, either of those options is certainly the way I'll be going.
Set up looks good. I would recommend that you put some light truck suspension seats in the front to save you backs in the future. Stratos have the seats
Awesome set up guys, Elenya 4 child restraints Huh! 🤔Mmmm I wonder 🤔R u gunna b a glutton for punishment like I was 🤣Nah it’s great, plenty of helping hands u won’t get bored 🤣🤣❤️Enjoy, take care Safe travels 🥰🍻
Great Rig. I was thinking something similar but went in a different direction. What put me off was 1. Child Restraint Seats - How much did the Engineering set you back? 2. How is the ride quality for a commercial vehicle, smooth/rough? 3. Is the high clearance an issue when going bush? 4. Is it 4x4 or 2WD?
Can't wait to see that video. I'm interested in build & running cost too to compare with other options like 4WD & trailer etc. It's interesting people spend so much on a 4WD & then they have to spend more just to be able to use it for caravanning because they've reached their weight limits.
Did you mention engine specs ? Did I miss that bit ?? Will it cruise at 80kph with van, what's revs is engine doing, fuel economy when you been in a few trips, would luv some of this kind of info as she is a big rig
Hey guys, looking into hitches at the moment for our truck build. I couldn’t quite see what you have. Heading toward airsafe but very expensive. Could you let me know what hitch you have and an honest review on it. Cheers guys.

It's the perfect set up for you guys. You would have to carry so much with 3 children. You don't have to worry about weight or room. Good on ya 😊

Totally agree - we are super happy that we did the research to make the best choice for us and our fam 🙌
You are so wrong, this nps is so under-powered and torqued plus its too high.
What an awesome rig.....
Love it

With the amount of juice onboard Suzi a 240v compressor would be an option, you get a lot more air and a lot better value.

Around 4L more per 100klm we sit at around 22.5 in the truck 🤠👍

What was full cost? apologies if mentioned in the video
At the time with the boat around $200,000
What is the mileage litres per 100 as that’s the major cost in travelling OZ
Hey Stephen it’s 22.5 towing the van 🤠👍
How many speed is your gearbox in the truck?
