    Hello Nick and Elenya,
    I hope this message finds you well. I must say, your 4x4 rig is nothing short of spectacular! My wife and I are deeply impressed with every intricate detail of your build. It stands out not only for its functionality but also for its aesthetics.
    As publicans we have put our Hotel for sale and are preparing to retire and journey across Australia ourselves, we've recently invested in a 79 series ourselves but realize now that even this rig is probably not big enough. Our ultimate goal is to traverse the vast landscapes of our beautiful country, especially as I'm an avid fishing enthusiast, much like yourself. With the aspiration to venture into crocodile territories, I realize that I'd need a larger boat. In fact, I've been so inspired by both your Truck Aswell as boat's design that I'm considering something similar if not exactly the same.
    Would it be possible for you to share the blueprint of your rig? It would be invaluable for individuals like me who appreciate such builds and wish to integrate some of your ideas. Maybe even consider featuring it on your channel, but as a printable PFD if possible, please as I believe many would benefit from understanding its structure and design.
    Lastly, for our travel planning purposes, could you provide some details on the weight of your truck on its own empty and also weight fully fueled up food everything including, boat, and the caravan you tow? Such information would immensely help us in ensuring we make informed decisions for our own setup.
    Thank you for your time and for the constant inspiration. Cheers to many more adventures!
    Warm regards,
    Marty and Leigh

    The truck is looking awesome. The only thing I would add is to the boat, being a brace from the bottom of the outboard leg to the bottom of the V of the trailer. I think without it you could suffer some transom damage from the motor shaking about especially on rough roads. Easy job for Nick. Keep on Truckin.

    Awesome walk around and now I know why you wont air down because it will take for ever to air up with the compressor you have.
    You need a Oassis 24V Compressor not cheap but you will look forward in airing up the tyres.

    • @JohnJones-ce5ri
      @JohnJones-ce5ri Рік тому

      With the amount of juice onboard Suzi a 240v compressor would be an option, you get a lot more air and a lot better value.

    • @allanhugh2044
      @allanhugh2044 Рік тому

      I agree with you there, either that option or Endless Air, which is essentially the same thing but running from a belt drive in the engine compartment, and they do a kit for the NPS, although this is the latest model of NPS so it may be slightly different. I'm currently running a 24V ARB twin unit on my NPS and if/when that dies, either of those options is certainly the way I'll be going.

How is the ride quality for a commercial vehicle, smooth/rough? 3. Is the high clearance an issue when going bush? 4. Is it 4x4 or 2WD?

I know you are really young and a builder and Nurse - Are you an RN/EN/AIN????. Mate - whhat kind of builder?. Not trying to be a jerk etc - however your rig is over 200K. Do you rent or have a mortgage or nothing etc. I am a Nurse Practitioner in Remote Area, and Wifey is a Hairdresser - so we can both work anywhere. Just seriously asking as we want to do an extended lap - build an NPS like yours, and travel FT for 1-2 yrs.... The NPS GVM is three tonnes over that of an F250, and that means being able brake all that extra payload the F250 can't carry and doesn't have to stop. With an 11 tonne GCM the Isuzu and trailer combo is two tonnes more than the F250s GCM of nine tons. The Isuzu might 'only' have a towing capacity of three and a half tonnes, but overall it can haul around (and stop) two tons more than an F250 and trailer.
