Hell yea Macc! Been following and watching ya videos since day one and will continue. I'll be out there soon....looking for a truck as o watch your mew video. One day....
Just came out NYC. Not going back
i messaged u on instagram and never heard back. id love to donate some money for a nice meal or to help buy ur wife something nice. been following u for a year and i dont even hot shot lol. ur a savage bro.
please put a patreon or a buy me a coffee link in ur bio. all the sailing channels i watch kill it on there.
Picked a load just like that from Alabama
Congratulations on the new authority. Interested to see how the brokers treat y’all with a new MC number. Keep up the hustle, it’s all paying off. 💪🏽
Appreciate that brotha! I’m sure were gonna have some struggles with that just like any other new authority. Thankfully we’ve made some connections and relationships so we might be able to maneuver around the issue slightly 🙏🏽
THIS DUDE RUNS CIRCLES ARE STEVE MILLER ....... STEVE MILLER IS A WANNABE COMPARED TO THIS DUDE ....
Thats why i will never go to New York again to deliver i had hell getting in and out and was running containers from New Jersey to CT and water pump blew out in Elizabeth NJ has pause everything for a week
How much do you think it would cost me to start up my own hot shot....non CDL... I'm out of Nevada?
That is hard for me to say. I used to say you need at least 30k but the way things are and fuel prices etc, I haven’t thought of another number yet but it will take capital and higher risk right now.
How’s the 2500 holding up? Still deciding between a ram 2500 or ram dually….
It’s holding very well for me man I can’t complain but if your thinking of getting your cdl just get the dually from now
I live just south of Wooster, Ohio! Small world. I’m looking to get into hotshot trucking. Amish country, just south of Wooster is a hot bed for hotshot.
If you don’t mind can you give me the name of the lease company you started with? New beginner. Thanks
I'm getting ready to lease on with Hotshot 107. I was looking at another company, but decided to go with the. I hit the road on the 1st of November.
Hey broo what s up what's the name of the company i will love to work like that can you hook me up thank just starting to follow you much love broooo let me get the info of that company thanks
Hey bro. Was that you who commented with your email?? If not someone scamming Asked me for $350
It’s a scam man! I blocked them and I’m deleting all their comments 😤
@@HotshotMacc That's what I thought bro. Just didn't know if you knew yet.
Congrats bro! You’ve motivated some of us new guys getting into this business! Good luck and hope everything turns out good. Also I sent you a DM on Instagram about some questions.
YES THIS DUDE KNOWS HIS SHIT ,,, HARD WORKER ,,,, DO NOT LISTEN TO STEVE MILLER ,,,, STEVE MILLER IS A WANNABE & WORKS HALFASS ....
You told no lies bro abt NYC… it’s the worst and ppl out there can not drive… everybody always talking about the rates good lol it ain’t worth the headache tho
Lol facts bro I got no plans on going back!
😂😂 I feel you bro‼️ @@HotshotMacc
I JUST PICK A RAM 3500 JOINING THE HOT SHOT GANG . I LIVE IN BROOKLYN TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU I WOULD NEVER WORK IN MY CITY
Yo if you come thru maryland hit my phone
Would like to meet up with you. I work out of Houston. Have lots of questions.
I have a link in the description where you can book a consultation with me. We can talk and possibly meet up.
How did you get started to be a lease owner operator? Wat step u started with to get a foot in the door
I did a video on that bro ua-cam.com/video/VQ9Oa8cmYSk/v-deo.html
That’s Brooklyn for you Tim I drive a box truck sometimes if I don’t have a driver and I hate to pick up in Brooklyn and I’m from Brooklyn. You’re inspiring me to do hot shot now. Shout outs from Bushwick trucking and logistics Inc. stay safe.
How was it with the trailer and parking to unload at the customer?
What Eld device your running
I was using Samsara but now I will start to use Keep Truckin
Hey could you do a video on eld how to buy install the cost all the features and your responsibilities by law not missing anything to help people understand eld use… thanks
I can probably put that together bro
@@HotshotMacc good stuff I can’t find a good eld video that explains everything wood be very helpful to a newbie with no experience hot to go about using one on a daily basis… I thought I saw a guy get a fine one day for not confirming his duties at the end of every day or something of that nature 👍👋👌
I see you had a nice trip in NY. Am from BK it’s crazy with traffic but the BX is the worst lol.
I've a question why don't you run dually
2 wheel drive wouldn't that be better on you're loads I don't know iam just asking
But it's been few months so you may not see this but keep rubber side down
It’s the truck I had before getting into this. But a dually is heavier and would just take away from the weight I can put on the trailer
Macc you in my hood! Grew up there. You're and inspiration bro. Made my 1st step ...got my truck. Took my cue from you Ram 2500 Laramie Mega cab Cummins 6.7 I'm down in south Texas now man working on getting the trailer. If you're ever in Rio Grande Valley McAllen hit me up!
That’s awesome to hear bro! Definitely appreciate your support. Congrats on the truck and hope you find a trailer soon man, its hard right now but ill be on the look out for the next time I’m down that way!
Dope vid bro. I had to laugh when you were in BK. That's home for me and the keys to success is to hit the lane as soon as you see it. Use your horn to make them see you...lol. I drove MTA for years and no.one is letting you in...lol. Seriously thinking about giving up rolloff for long haul OTR. Seeing your vid is motivation. #generationalwealth
I hate when people do that they be acting like they never seen a load they so used to seeing fully loaded trailers that they be shocked when we get Lil baby loads like a day ago I got a short load just parts and it was nothing but six pallets going on a flatbed
🤣🤣 facts, if it’s paying good them why not??
Hi Tim I just heard that California will not let you drive non cdl in there state, just a heads up.
I’ve been hearing that. I’m doing my CDL training now!
Congrats on the authority man, not sure what you had to take care of being leased on, but the the paper work stacks up quick being on your own. I see you got your girl having your back though so that’s cool. My biggest one so far was how do I go about getting permits for an oversized load 😱 haha just been avoiding those for the time being…
Took a 53 foot spread axle to the Bronx once... it was crazy... had to back in from the traffic light with heavy traffic in the hood lol
👌🏾👍🏾👌🏾 I’m an inner city Atlanta kid but been living in Brooklyn the last 5 years… I see you on the BQE 😁
…and that’s how they unload in BK 😟
Yeah bro it was definitely a different experience! That BQE is not for the weak 🤣
Thats normal everyday driving in NY, Bro…🤣😂🤣. You get a chance to get some of that Good NY PIZZA…???😎
So are you a cdl driver now?
Also do you need a edl if your are your own attorney Non-cdl???
Yea I am and you do need to run an ELD in any commercial vehicle depending on the year of the equipment/motor
Big congratulations to you and the Boss Lady on your transition. You are definitely an inspiration to me as I endeavor to start up. Thanks for your guidance and insights!
Hey Mr. Hotshot Macc what kind of truck do you have?
I have a Ram 2500 Cummins 6.7 Diesel
Brooo. I got hella videos to watch to catch up where you are now. I was like; the hell, how he in a 5500 now? 😄 congrats on getting your own authority and doing your thing. Got me wondering if I should bypass getting a 2500 and Leasing on with someone or go that route first to get the experience. 🤔
Lol yeah bro. Appreciate the support 💯
What company were you leased on with?
Hotshot107
What was the name of that company macc can you please inform the people ??? Or shit dm it to me on ig man I’m tryna get leased on somewhere I just turned 22 and I am a current class a driver with my own truck and trailer . Appreciate everything you’ve done for us keep spreading love knowledge and positivity
Hey bro I appreciate the love and support! Lol the company is hotshot107.com.
Good luck
Are you going to be leasing people to you new company
Thanks! And yes I will eventually just not exactly sure when yet.
Let me know I’m from New York I have a f 350 dully with a 30 ft trailer I have experience driving in New York right now im lease to a company
Yessir!! 🛻💨💨💨!! #Ownerauthority
I'm In Harlem. You handled NYC streets but takes patience... well done. Keep doing your thing brother. Never easy when you grinding to the top. Be Safe & Much Success.
What company was you leased on to and congrats on your new authority
Hotshot107.com
Do you recommend any companies to lease on to ..?
I can only recommend who I was leased on, Hotshot107. I can't speak for any other company
Hello, I have been watching your videos and they are very inspiring. In the past you mentioned you did some work in FL moving agriculture products without owning trailer. Can you please assist me with the company’s information
Congrats,
Yea they gonna try to undercut with your new authority. Better tell them that you are experienced off the jump, formerly leased.
Thanks man! Yeah I hear that’s how it is but I’ll definitely try to use my experience to my advantage.
Congrats brother I love your channel you don’t hold back on information 👍🏾. Do you recommend the company you was leased on to?
Thanks brotha! I try to keep it as authentic as possible. No point in misleading ppl man. Ppl are changing their entire lives for this so its best they can see everything. The company I was leased on to was very good to me, I do recommend them but I also think that everyone can have a different experience.
Damm i wish inwould knew you were coming out to Brooklyn would of took you to lunch and chop it up its not easy out here stay blessed
Man I appreciate that! Don’t think I’m going back to BK tho man lol
First load was a 30 ft Shipping container.....3 mpg! Damn it boy! 2nd load is some auto lifts, the broker made a mistake and didn't have someone to unload me, so I'm sitting till Monday at home...He's not trying to pay the detention I asked him!!!! Big up bro!!
Keep it up bro!! I'm not too far behind you. I'm working on getting leased to someone. I drive for them now but I will be getting my own truck and trailer next yr to lease on w this company. Then eventually hvae my own authority. Its steps to this. I appreciate all the transparency. Very motivating
It looked like you dropped at the polymer plant in Corpus next to the ship channel. I run barges through there regularly. Long way to drive, for sure.
You should invest in a tire plug, they're easy to use, so you can fix your own tires when you pick up nails or screws
Yeah you are right! I actually have a set but didn’t think it would do any justice with the 14 ply tire
@@HotshotMacc It’ll work to get you to your destination but not as a permanent solution
What do you mean by Leased owner operator?? Am trying to get on this hotshot next year. Thank you for this videos they really have help me..
just subscribed....can i ask what your payload rating on the truck?
Congratulations man you definitely worked hard to get to where your at . Keep the videos coming love watching them! I'm looking to get into the business and you put great info out there.I may have a few questions for you in the future.
Thanks bro!! The videos are definitely coming! Appreciate your support. Definitely reach out when your ready and connect with me via the links in my description.
Your content is awesome, I’m just now getting started. How many miles do you drive in a day? Thanks
Thank you bro appreciate the feedback! The miles depend if I’m loading or unloading or if its a drive day. I can probably 6-700 miles a day
Great content as always. Could you do a video on what exact paper work you need to be road ready under your own authority?
Appreciate that bro!! That’s a great idea I should definitely do that!
Congrats my man, that’s the way to go work for ourselves, wish you good luck on the new chapter , keep killing it.
Thanks bro I really appreciate that! And you are right, just had to get the experience but we are ready now 💪🏽💯
As a truck driver I love Brooklyn
your videos really break it down for me! go get that paper my brotha!!! how do you learn to drive and park with the trailer hitched behind you?
Thanks bro I’m glad they help out! I taught myself how to drive and back up, I also used to pull a bumper pull travel trailer for years plus some past experience with smaller trailers.
ya ass is funn
y as hell Bro Bro! Macc said im never coming back to brooklyn agina lmao no place like home. its krazy
Love your videos just from watching you I have made my mind up to start. I still have a few years before I can but it will be all good plenty enough time to save money.
Have you considered an aftermarket tire pressure monitoring system . I run tyrepal on my tow vehicle and trailer for me it covers 8 tires but can do up to 22
Ya already know how we move out here 😂 just love the city
I already know bro 🤦🏽♂️🤣 I’m trippin
Are you going to be cdl or non cdl
Non Cdl until I get my CDL set up
I enjoy your videos very much! Thank you and Happy New Year!
Buena man 💰😎
Congratulations bro 👏 🙌 💪 💯 🙏 Keep pushing
Congratulations on the move! I love NYC! Did it for years in a tractor trailer. Any time you go into the city, go in during the 5am hour! Good luck with the new mc!
Thanks Jason! Appreciate it man! And props to you for doing it in a tractor trailer! You definitely gotta know the times to go in
Can you make video of all the tools you take with you? Thanks in advance.
I’ll definitely plan on putting a video like that together. Great idea!
First time in NY lol pays good atleast .. I spend alot of time on long Island
Welcome to NY bro. Watch out for them Parkways
Great work man see you going places… thinking about getting into the business
Thanks bro definitely appreciate that!
Congratulations on the move to getting your own numbers 👏
Thanks brother! 🙏🏽💯
Man thanks for the inspiration. How much do I owe you for this?
For this work you need the cdl license or with the c license you can
There is a way to drive in New York. It can be intimidating but once you are on you are good. Agreed it is nerve racking at times
Do you take days off when needed or you have to return within a a specific time?
Congrats bro! This has been a long time coming, and you've definitely earned it! Hopefully I'll see you out here on these roads! 💪👏 🙌
Man I appreciate that Chris! You been rocking with me from the start! We gotta run into each other one day bro. Lunch on me 💯
IT'S CRAZY IN BK. I DID MY CDL ROAD TEST 10-14-2021 IN RED HOOK. GOT MY CLASS A BUT I HAD TO WORK FOR IT.
Man that’s what’s up bro! It’s definitely crazy out there
I haven't ran in 2 weeks, these rates aren't even worth taking
Yeah its crazy out there depending on where your based. Hoping it turns around asap
Congrats on going to your own Authority, I'm starting soon Haulin Assets LLC , good luck moving foward, great videos
Thanks bro. That’s what’s up congratulations
Congratulations and blessings wish you success my friend and thank you for the content!
Thank you brotha! Your welcome and I appreciate your support!
Congrats bro. Keep going 💪💪🔥
Im telling ya, Better start thinking bout getting that CDL. California already terminated non cdl drivers in their state. Drivers are getting their Authority revoked. It may not affect you now if you just stay out of California but once other states figure out they can ban non cdl, they're gonna do it too.. look it up bro if you don't believe me, just looking out for ya.
I’m already currently training for my CDL bro.
Hello, I wish you the best in your trucking business. I really find your videos helpful. Is there a way I can get in contact with you? Please let me know. Thank you
Hey thank you and I’m glad my videos are helpful to you. I do have a link in my bio to connect with me more
Congrats, bro, I've been a cdl driver for 8 years. I'm jumping into hotshot I have my own authority, a Ram truck with a 35.5 gooseneck mega ramp, my question is, since my authority is new, should I lease on with a company, or should I do my own??
Thanks bro!! Did you already get your insurance? It will definitely be a challenge within the first 6 months to a year even more now than ever bc brokers are choosing to work less with new authorities. Depending on your overhead, who’s gonna be dispatching you, it may be best to lease on with an established company to keep your wheels turning then either let your authority age if you can afford it or get out on your own when you have enough capital to sustain todays market. Things to consider: do you have help with back office, dispatch, building relationships, experience in the business etc. if not I would recommend leasing on until your able to come up with a solid plan to put those systems and processes into place.
CONGRATS bro! Keep on keeping on and God speed!!
Thanks bro I appreciate that!!
Good vid. Best of luck on your next journey owning your own. Can't wait til I'm there running my own!
Thanks brotha! You’ll be at it before you know it man. Time flew for me!
@@HotshotMacc Tru that. My first go has been 4 straight weeks. Go home st the end of this one for a week. Hardest part is being away from family. But my gets it and supports me. Lol she looking forward to the day I tell her to quit her job and dispatch for me.
Hot Shot Macc...THE REALEST ! Congrats on your New Authority ..Thanks for sharing your experience brother...all the work and knowledge of OTR...NYC is a hell know, I am with you on that 100%
Appreciate you brotha! Thanks for the big ups! And definitely NY is a no no from now on 🤣
Do you ever have scraping issues unloading or loading vehicles? Looks like it goes pretty smooth. I am trying to decide whether I should get a 30 ft car hauler or 30 ft flat deck. Just getting started in hot shot. Thanks. Have fun. Best of luck.
I never had that issue because I only hauled suvs and pick up trucks. I’m definitely not able to do cars because of that issue.
Awesome mane!!! Can't wait for the next video, congrats & good luck 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Definitely appreciate the support fam!
Welcome to Brooklyn N.Y
Yeah;
It's Grimy
It's Dirty
It's our Paradise
In deed. Beautiful city!! but won't go back with the trailer lol
damn no way would I go back there, looks as bad a philly when I had to take a 53 foot trailer in with a 260 inch wheel base semi. I told my dispatcher never again
Lol yeah I don’t plan on going back. It’s no fun!
Love this Content Brotha and Glad to hear you making this transition to your own owner operator. Much Love G Texas fasho keep bossing up💯
Thanks brotha! Definitely appreciate that man! We definitely gonna keep pushing forward 💪🏽💯
I'll b seeing you soon I hope it's as easy as you make it look 🤑😁👊
Lol it’s not always easy man but I try to keep my cool most of the time. See you out there bro!
Look like driving in New York is tough omg!!! Keep going hope to see you soon
So you are gonna have your own authority now, I have CDL hazmat and tanker endorsement I can stay out for 2 to 3 months none stopping, CAN I WORK FOR YOU?
Send me an email admin@hotshotmacc.com
HELL YEA! Moving on up. I bet your feeling good getting on your own
Aww man, you wanna stay away from NY all together NYC is a nightmare when it comes to driving, period!!! Chicago too, got many flats and broken equipment messin with all those dam potholes and other ish!!!
Man I know that now 🤣🤣
Watched lot of your videos. Great content Just wondering where do you park your trailer when not working when just starting out on a budget? Who was the broker? Any recommendations?
Appreciate the support! When I started, I parked my trailer at a public storage then later moved to a boat an rv storage yard. Just gotta search google and call for the cheapest rate that is within a good distance
Looks great good loader skills fifteen year veteran in semi rigs 48 states military loads enjoying your video helping others Thanks have awesome rest of the year congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 o
Thanks!!
How's the last year been with the freight rates, Diesel availability and prices?
You struggling for decent loads or did you get a dedicated account with a company?
Its been harder but we’ve been able to manage with our niche in OD loads and just being patient. There are still some decent rates if you wait. We haven’t locked in anything dedicated yet.
❤i really want to try this thanks fot video
