Glad your saga has come to a great resolution! I am going to be reconfiguring sometime soon. I am looking forward to being able to use "what I know now" vs what I did when I knew less. Nice to see you back in the space you want!
Studio looks great! But damn didn't realize how great of a guitar player you are. Would love to see some more guitar content like maybe some pedal videos or amp videos. Regardless, love all your content! Keep it up!
Thanks man!! Yeah I'm figuring out the best way to implement more guitar playing on the channel :) I don't know if a straightforward guitar production video is the way to go, but I have a vid coming out soon that's a full cover with three guitar parts!
That’s quite a journey, from that place back when you started the channel, all the way to where you are now. And judging by what you hinted, it has been a bumpy ride. I’m glad to see you finally got a better place and I cannot wait to see, what you’re going to do from now on, Judging by the quality of your content so far!
really nice and cozy new studio! the plan looks like a great template for in desk talks like this and, presuming there's no much space between the wall and there desk, the shot has really low perspective distortion for a short focal length.
Thanks for the video! I used to get mold around the rim of the decanter, the bit where you plug it to the curse case 5000 for curse extraction etc but, I found a touch of bleach and water helps. No more mold, just cursing Pi-D glasses no problems whatsoever! Stay cool!
So like basically I’ve been binge watching all of your videos and it left me with one question.. What condenser mic do you recommend the most for an untreated room? Specifically like a bedroom with a bit of carpet and furniture but no proper foam and sound panels. At a budget around 500~1000 dollars?
Congrats on finishing out the new place! I've been building out a home studio in a hotel room in Mississippi, and can relate to the feeling of dealing with so many obstacles that no one will ever see and it's hard to convey. Your videos have been very helpful in that process. Once things are in decent shape here, I'm planning to move to NYC for the opportunities for musicians and artists there. I'd love to hear more about your life in NYC and tips you have for artists trying to make it there.
I hope you are very happy in your new home studio. It will be interesting to see what tweaks you make over time and then perhaps to how much has or hasn't changed.
Nice set up! Audient I really like, I use an iD22 for almost everything. There's no doubt the preamps are really good compared to my other interfaces. A happy and productive new recording adventure in your new place!
Take a look at the KRK V6S2 monitors-you can fairly frequently find them for under $300 used and they’re direct competitors to the Adam A5 and Genelec 8030 lines. They’re the far superior predecessors to the VXT line, and the S1s and S2s used drivers manufactured by Focal. I use a pair of the V6S2s in my main studio and prefer them to my 8030Cs despite selling used for 1/4th the price
Cute purpose for a next video, Se lelectromic x1R, It May be a budget for the not covered category of the ribbons also a realy solid mic, between a Classic ribbon and a Dynamic
This lighting is nice and cozy, man! I dig it. I feel like putting the camera at an angle (I believe you had a B-cam) would do pretty nicely with the shadows/warm tone you have going on here.
That looks to be a lovely mellow space. Where did you hide the all the "vital acoustic room treatments"... the bass traps, diffusers etc... eh? ;) Also, V fascinated by the picture on the wall in the background over your shoulder.
Awesome new studio. I love the OC818. I couldn't justify keeping mine ( my 416 just suits my voice and setup better) but it's an awesome mic. What camera did you end up going with?
Totally! I actually just used the onboard EQ built into the back of the KRK's, that said, you could also tune your speakers with something like sonarworks
You did an amazing job with the lighting man, everything feels so warm. And i’m a huge fan of the colors you got going on with the warmer tones n shit, i did the same in my studio. Also audient gang ftw. Now i’m just trying to hear some of that geetar. We just gotta get yo ass in discord more lol Also dude i feel that big time with the foam stands. I have the rokit 5’s well, my cat tears the foam up! He hops up and just starts scratching away.
Thanks dude!! Yeah I really tried hard to make the place nice and cozy, and yeah there’s some guitar playing later in the vid!! Let’s also set up a voice call event or something soon on discord, the shear amount of communication on IG, YT, and Discord, it’s hard to keep up with, especially with the full time job and everything. But text me and let’s set something up for discord :)
@@AudioHaze oh shit. I’m at the guitar part, you’re actually really good when it comes to controlling your vibrato and hitting the same notes when bending, lots of dudes i teach struggle there. Great job man
Congrats on the new place! Question: K67x has a darker voiceover tone than RE-20? (Or was that darker than the OC 818?) Any concerns about leak from outside sound with the K67x? (818 & RE20 probably out of my current budget but seriously considering a K67x or K47) Thanks!
Thanks dude! Yes for sure, the k67x is probably the darkest mic I own, it seems fairly good at noise rejection for a condenser, but can't match a dynamic. I 100% recommend a k67x, its absolutely killer, and for the money its top of class
Exciting . . You even look more relaxed. Anyway, happy you got your new studio and living quarters up "and" operating. Best wishes and cheers!
Hi audiohaze!.
I'm pleased for you with your new studio,I hope it will be fruitful for years to come.
Thanks. 👍😃
Thanks Michael! I hope so as well :)
VERY IMPRESSIVE! RE20 Yep!
Thank you my friend!!

Thank you as always Michael! Looking forward to creating some awesome stuff in the new space :)
Nice to see you up and running in the new place. Look forward to seeing the bigger studio as well.
Nice!
Thanks dude!
Lovely studio ! I think it's awesome that you were able to make it work with so many limitations previously, but definitely a level up ! Cheers !
Thank you! Believe me there are still limitations here, Brooklyn will always be incredibly noisy regardless haha
Great to hear from ya man, glad the new studio worked out!!
Thanks! The efforts have been worth it for sure :)
Danke!
Thank you Rainer as always!

I like the home, looks sick. Ur backdrop looks goated too

Thanks for the advice! Luckily most of that stuff is all fixed now :)
Congrats! If you can relocate in NYC, you can do anything!
It’s truly insane to move in this city
Congratulations to your new studio and living place! Looking forward to more new content 😊
Thanks! Yes me as well, you have no idea how much easier it is to shoot videos in this space :)

Good idea! Will keep that in mind

Thanks dude! No treatment of the sort yet, I'll have to approach that strategically :) and thanks! My mom painted it of my dog
What do you do for work outside of UA-cam audio stuff
hey, what camera and lens do you use?
Awesome studio! Also thinking about monitor stands, which ones u use?
Thanks man! Nothing special on the monitor stands, I believe the company was Vondynote on Amazon
Awesome new studio. I love the OC818. I couldn't justify keeping mine ( my 416 just suits my voice and setup better) but it's an awesome mic. What camera did you end up going with?
Aw sorry to hear! And the Camera is a Lumix S5, I just love the picture quality

Thanks! As of this video I'm using the Lumix S5 with the 20-60mm kit lens, and the F1.8 80mm for the B roll :)
@@AudioHaze oooff great camera man! Looks good! Also loved the Broll shots! What was your old camera/lens if I may ask?
What cameras do you use please and lens
It’s a LUMIX S5 with the 20-80mm kit lens and the 80mm f1.8 for B roll :)

nice

Why not a RodeCaster Pro 2 as a main audio interfase?
Never tried it! Don’t know much about it for now 🤷🏻♂️
@@AudioHaze I think you should contact RODE so they can send you one. if you ask nicely surely they do. 🙃
God I wish I invested in zoom before the boom
u gotta do a video on how to set 2 interfaces to one laptop at the same time man. gamechanger
Yeah easy! Maybe thats even a short or something :)
@@AudioHaze Is this just using ASIO4ALL with two interface sources or does Audient have some proprietary linking protocol?
Damn, being an audio UA-camr in a construction area, must be many retake sessions.
So many....too many....
If I have that studio I'd say I'm pretty successful

What is it with audio dudes and cats?
10/10 mentality

I STILL don't know what that means lol
