Bad Drivers of Wisconsin unfortunately the 24 H has degenerated so fast in the last years. This year and ofc the next (thanks again for a two years championship, never done worst WEC) the toyota will win - IF they can get to the finish, who knows at le mans everything can happen. But its boring anyway.
Isn't it fascinating how the GT1 cars in this race are the only cars that actually look like early 2000's LMPs? And there's a reason for that. The early 2000's prototypes are based on the GT1 class of the late 90's.
Both the Porsche GT1 and Nissan R390 were some quick machinery, a shame both were plagued with problems, leading to a DNF by both Porsche cars and only a single Nissan finishing in 12th.
@Hasseta Considering he placed second to Alain Prost in the championship in 1985, scored those five wins (two with an uncompetitive car) and won here at Le Mans, I'd say he's far from "sucks".
I loved this era of Le Mans... The Porsche 911 GT1's, and McLarens were great looking race cars!
"Only 10 or 15 cars are capable of winning." That's a HELL of a lot better than we can say now.

Every single car that year was fantastic. What a time

Last season, McLaren competed in the Le Mans Championship

@Hasseta Except the radio announcer here clearly says he won five races in his F1 career.

So much better in the 90’s, so dull these days. All the Toyota has to do is turn up to win
I think it was 1999. keyword: think
@heinedenstore in his whole carrier... big deal
wtf? alboreto was leading? he's a very bad driver .. in f1 he didnt win at least 1 race ..
Well... In endurance was not as bad as in F1.
You clearly know nothing about Alboreto, then. Hint: try watching some of his 1985 GPs.
