I live 30 minutes from Bowraville and the aftermath of those murders still has a significant impact on our community and I can only hope exposure can translate into change that can eventually lead to justice for our mob.
Im an hour and a half away approx from Kingsbury Run. Looked into it a little. The main suspect was a doctor. His last name was Cafarro. I've often pondered if he's connected to the Cafarro family near me, locally. If so, there's no way he was going to be tried no matter the evidence. Very wealthy family involved in politics. Goes without saying, but also suspected mob ties. (Extortion for sure in the past with convictions).
You should have included the Canadian case, "The Highway of Tears Killer" in British Columbia Canada where several young girls, mainly Aboriginal, have been murdered over many years.
The thing with this alleged serial killer is that authorities believe that it's not just one killer, but multiple killers that patrol that stretch of highway, some of the killers the authorities know about.
The television show "Mission Declassified" did an amazing job researching the Axe Man of New Orleans, and even found the Italian mob he was associated with. You can stream it on Vudu, Discovery Streaming, and cable services that carry the Travel Channel. It describes how he broke into properties, why he targeted the people he killed, and where he probably escaped to when he was finished with his job. "Mission Declassified, Season 1, Episode 5, The Axeman of New Orleans"
He puts so much into his videos, having different channel makes more money and categorizes his content so its easier to find what his viewer's are in to.
How can people still believe that the man convicted of murdering his wife and lover is the serial killer when some of the murders happen while he was in jail and his wife and lover were killed by the same gun that killed the others. Even with conclusive evidence some people still won't reevaluate their stance.

The thing I don't understand about the Long Island serial killer is the fact that police actually traced a 911 call that was made by one of the victims, while she was being killed, to a house in the area. And I think they never really investigated the person the house belongs to, for some reason. Why is that? Or is it that guy you said was already in prison for killing other people?
That girl was Shanon Gilbert and police believe she was not one of LISK victims and her death was an accident due to exposure or drowning due to her intoxicated/delirious state of mind., as she was found in another area. Just a coincidence?

They are honestly not that interesting, it's not about the count, you can look that list up and despite my interest in in serial killers I never heard of top 9, #10 is only famous in former soviet union, Garry Ridgeway was the first famous one i came accross at #14. None of the ones you'd think of as definitive serial killers would be on that list.

He then sent a series of cryptic letters to the NYPD, in which he threatened to kill thirteen other men. He said that the two he had already killed belonged to a secret Anti-Communist society (I forget the name of it, except that it had the word "Russia" in it), to which he too belonged, as did the ones he said he would kill in the future. Each one of these letters was signed "XXX," so the newspapers began calling him "3X" (about a year or two later, the "Shadow" magazine would include a story entitled "Double Z," about a killer who sends letters signed "ZZ" to the police; the story was believed to have been based on the "3X" case). In a strange twist to the case, the killer sent a final note to the police, saying that he obtained some documents he was after, that he completed his "mission," and that now, there was no need to kill the thirteen members of the society that he and his two victims belonged to. After that, the letters stopped coming in to the law. I believe there is a serial killer from San Francisco who uses a similar modus operandi that has also never been caught. His ambushed his victims, always couples in parked in their car, in a park.
