Troodon is loosely based off known troodontids although much of it's design is fictionalized and is much closer to that of a dromaeosaur than a troodontid.
It would be cool if we had the ability to make them look accurate now I’m not gonna say it’s bad bc this is essentially a game based off jp and you gotta give each Dino a mechanic to make them unique otherwise then no one will really play them
@@Mood_Be_Smooth4903 they said it’s gonna have another more accurate roar but if I remember irl Rex didn’t roar it and I know this sounds weird but it essentially very creepily laughed and spino also made like siren noises there’s vids online on how they may have sounded
I just got the isle today I’ve played around 3 hours of it I keep on dying but it’s fun my only problem so far is the ping and lag and bad performance and how annoying is to get into a server
It always confused me that they didnt let ptera take off from the water, not only since it could irl but itd make for a much more entertaining and less one sided interraction between crocs and ptera in the water. Would also let pteras be more interactive besides just flyby pecking things if it could quickly go into and out of the water. Its part of what makes thal fun in path even tho thal I think probably couldnt take off from water or dive? I would love that aspect but with the isles flying mechanics
Omni got named omni cause they want to make actual utah but people dont want they to remove omni so that's why it got renamed, what the problem getting a genetic modified dinosaur looking different then the original one?
@@MastaBaitaAmbatukam why shouldn't it? Since the isle is in our timeline, and all the dinos are constructed in a lab, I'd say that having non accurate dinos walking around is very plausible, and being placed on the island makes million of years of evolution obsolete. Much like JP. 😀
they're all genetically modified animals same as in Jurassic Park, i never really understood why ppl endlessly debate the paleo accuracy of stuff like this 😂
Because it matters. If they were all fictional species it wouldn't. Omniraptor doesn't matter, because it's made up. But by calling the playables a certain genus or species, it assigns expectations. Look at Troodon. It's invalid, but due to it bearing the name of "Troodon" it is expected to resemble a troodontid. For it to be Troodon, it needs to BE Troodon, not a random creature the devs decided to call Troodon. A plucked chicken is not a red-tailed hawk. Creative liberties are fine, but to call it something it barely resembles invites criticism.

@@TheDinoNerd I mean, it looks about the same as any other depiction of Troodon without feathers. I hate Omni players, no matter how many corpses are around, they still kill my fresh spawn Cera just because they can. It should not be able to spawn in South plains imo
Skill issue. My rec is stay out of high pop areas as a cera until ur big enough to fight off a pack, then it’s fun when they fight u cuz u actually have a chance!
The isle has a quite few that are very close to their real life counterparts but then some just compete works of fiction or just jp clones , personally for me this creates a disconnect when it comes to the artstyle.

Troodon is most comparable to the Telltale JP game troodon
Worth noting that O. C. Marsh didn’t “discover” most of the species that he named. That was usually done by the many people he employed, rich dude

Troodon is a waste taxon meaning it doesn't exist
