Excellenct!! The Sälen handles metal so well ! I love playing prog metal and using high gain but since i got the Nx 7 standard Strandberg i am playing clean and using distortion too. Not only are they incredibly ergonomic, the tones are so diverse :)!
Well i was pretty surprised. The strandberg Designed PUs Are Not Bad 😇 Uh the nx 7 Maybe will be my Next Investment. Do you also own the Tremolo Sälen ? Yeah i love the ergonomic. Honestly the body shape for different positions is better then endurneck imo, but all in all one of the most interesting guitars😍
@MikePane Ah I see , I've heard good things about the Strandberg designed pickups too . Haha at the moment I am very happy with my Nx 7 . In Australia it's especially difficult to find a Strandberg guitar. The endurnekc has helped me enormously and stopped a lot of the wrist pain I was previously experiencing ( though I also do plenty of stretches before playing) :)
@MikePane I do play two Ibanez Quest guitars too, and I love them, but I will admit that Strandberg has a much more comfortable neck and the pickups are significantly more powerful. I play the Ibanez Q 54 and the Ibanez Q X54 QM bsm it's the blue one with the longer neck! If I could afford it I would go for a Strandberg Prog 6 because they have a whammy bar and I assume they work well for prog metal ! Which is my favourite genre . Though I do find myself playing quite a bit of classical guitar and trying to learn some jazz along with plenty of metal. Oops I ranted , but yes your playing is excellent !! 👌 keep it up
