I have made up my mind. A vacuum that doesn’t take up carpet fibers and hair and leave it on the vacuum brush. I will get a vacuum with the rubber flaps.
Lol. I went with this vacuum. One month in and best decision I’ve made. Most of my house is laminate flooring with the exception of 4 rooms (carpet). I use this vacuum at least 2 times a day.
I purchased this 2 months ago and this is amazing at picking up dirt and hair. I have a corded Shark which is also great. I always buy the pet hair vacuum even though I have no pets. The floor to carpet is great too. I think the corded is a stronger pull but, this is a great lightweight version and you can clean top to bottom. What you see it pick up in this demonstration is totally true.
What would concern me about the lack of bristles on the pickup head, is the amount of wear-down when trying to vacuum a rough surface. I would think something like say, concrete would chew the heck out of those synthetic flaps. Perhaps there is a bristle replacement option for this issue? Also, is there a hose extension option for the hand unit? This would allow the suction tool to get into awkward tight spaces.
I was really excited when I got the Pet Pro vacuum. So lightweight and easy to move, even if it's not the strongest on carpet. Only had it for 9-10 months though before it completely died on me. Shark Support told me I would need to replace the entire bottom part of the vacuum where the brushroll is, and pay $90 + shipping for the part! It's an OK vacuum, but Shark doesn't take care of their customers and own up to the fact they sold me a faulty product, so I'll never buy a Shark again.
The product does a decent job, but when the hose in the head splits and cracks - and it will - I learned there is no repair part (a flexible hose about 8" x 1.25"). The "repair" consists of the purchase of a new head ($130). Makes no sense to me that such a simple part is not available.
I love my original shark navigator, but the company was recently bought by China so its a no go for me. Buy American or from countries not pushing communism.
I've literally spend 1 hour watching vacuum videos to find the best vacuum. #adulting
1 day spent here, still can't decide

way ditay I actually own this, and can say that the flaps are more rubbery and flexible, and the flaps are totally okay!

Even with the 5 year warranty?
I had a brush less I just took back bc I can't push it along only pull and lift. Good suction, bad for moving! But it wasn't flaps like this.

Can you get water with it?
no
Hold up 😂 @8:40 ummmmm... I'm not cleaning around my toilet with the vacuum cleaner. That's definitely not why I need a self cleaning brush roll. Js.
